McLaren are very pleased with the performance of our Ford Cosworth engines, and would like to renew our partnership, using the new 1977-spec engines.

With Williams unlikely to gain much money, we'll stick with the '76-spec Fords.

New Teams for 1977:

Renault (BaconLettuceNinja)
Car: RS01
Budget: 7.000.000

LEC
Car: CRP1
Budget: 2.000.000

Apollon (tristan1117)
Car: Apollon Fly
Budget: 600.000
Driver: Loris Kessel

McGuire (Wizzie)
Car: McGuire BM
Budget: 600.000
Driver: Brian McGuire

Available again:
Fittipaldi
Car: F5
Budget:Depends on prize money

As Apollon and McGuire are very small teams and can afford only some single entries, you can choose to run one of them in addition to your main team. I'm still unsure about ATS and Merzario, as they competed in 1977, but still used customer chassis.

Williams was bought by Walter Wolf in real life. I think he also brought some money, otherwise I couldn't explain how a backmarker from 1976 turned into a race-winning constructor in 1977.

I think it's up to you to decide if Williams becomes Wolf for 1977, but Wolf would bring, let's say.. 4.000.000 to the team.

I know that might be a bit unfair, because other teams have only their prize money, but somehow I have toinclude Wolf's entry in 1977.

I doubt that Pryce wants to change his team, as McLaren are dominating the 1976 season. But Peterson would stay at Brabham, but you should consider raising his salaries.

As a reward for utterly destroying everyone in 1976, we will offer James Hunt a $100,000 raise. We will also offer a $25,000 raise to Tom Pryce.

March will dump those useless Matra pieces of crap, and use trusty new-spec DFVs instead for 1977.

Alan Jones and Mario Andretti will be retained for another year, with a 5% pay increase for both drivers.

Shadow will dump the DFVs we were using last season, and become Ferraris custmer team :)

We will resign Jarier as our lead driver for next season, with Stommelen coming back to be our second driver and Lombardi will be our third entry in selected races. Offer them all 5% pay rises. If for any reason one of them declines the offer, Stuck can deputise.

With Mario Andretti still in March, Ligier's offer of Gunnar is almost a done deal. If Steal-Gate closes without changes, Divina will stay on Parnelli.

Kojima-BRM continue with Hasemi driving the whole season, while Hoshino will drive the third car occasionally. The second driver, the British one, is to be confirmed later, but Kojima BRM has an option on Henton.

They're French and they're not Matra. That's all we really care about. Whether they work or not is entirely up for debate

Could I possibly drop Fittipaldi and take up Renault?

If that's ok, we'd be interested in Jean-Pierre Jabouille and Rene Arnoux.

You can run Renault in 1977. Do you want to run Fittipaldi until the end of 1976,or do you want to drop them now?
