I'd like to enter, with Charlie Darrell an Australian driving for Simon's Motorsport Team. The car will be red and blue and sponsored by STP. Charlie's ratings will be split at 20 speed, 20 aggression, and 35 composure.

We will spend 50 dollars on car mass, and 100 dollars on the engine life.

So anyway, here's the form.

Team name: Simon's Motorsport Team
Driver 1 name: Charlie Darrell (AUS)
Speed: 20
Composure: 35
Aggresion: 20

    Announcements
  • The Australian GP will take place on Friday at 18:00 UTC whether everyone is happy with their liveries or not, I can always change them after the race and they'll appear updated in the highlights video.
  • I've decided to change the venue for the German GP to Oschersleben.
That is all ;)

The race will start when 3 people enter

Also I forgot to mention, the car number is 85. And we'll spend $4 on reducing the car mass, and $6 on engine life.

Wow, excellent race for Jasper Lerby. He beat his teammate in qualifying, kept out of the chaos during the race and scored a 3rd place.

Another 20 points on Lerby's speed please.

 at all the carnage! ISI's rejectful retirement AI in full effect again. Great result from Nurmester, too bad that Rench and Anger decided to trust the same brake supplier as in the Life GP Series...

I think I better join this before all of the spots are taken. Looks like a pretty good series.

Team Name: Ambrose-Milan Autosport (USA)
Driver 1: Jacques Malenfant (FRA)
Speed: 35 + 12 extra
Composure: 20 + 15 extra
Aggression: 20 +8 extra
Number: 41

Driver 2: Joey Alliot (USA)
Speed: 20 + 10 extra
Composure: 25 + 3 extra
Aggression: 30 + 12 extra
Number: 42

And I'd like to spend $100 on mass reduction and $40 on increasing engine life. I guess that wipes out my budget. I'll get to making a livery as soon as I can.
My excuse for my team missing the Australian GP is that the team boss, Allen Thomas, refuses to recognize Australia's as a sovereign nation. :)

Okay so Goldrush got a pole and we looked good for a podium and a point scoring position when we encountered two mechanical failures.. ROTR worthy, and we have no future budget either.

18:06   Darkapprentice77   hello
18:06   Hound55   Hey
18:07   Hound55   Have you already run the qualifying or are you going to do that immediately before the race?
18:07   Darkapprentice77   just ran it now, results are in the thread
18:08   Hound55   I like those results
18:08   Darkapprentice77   lol
18:09   Hound55   both of them had 4 tenths on anyone else
18:09   Darkapprentice77   yep
18:09   Hound55   that's kind of ridiculous
18:09   Darkapprentice77   i guess so
18:12   Darkapprentice77   i guess i'll start it now
18:12   Hound55   ok
18:13   Darkapprentice77   only seconds to go before we're racing, you can really feel the tension...
18:13   Darkapprentice77   the race is go, go go!
18:14   Darkapprentice77   the ambrose cars get off the grid well
18:14   Hound55   thats good
18:14   Darkapprentice77   the field is tightly packed as they come out of turn 1
18:15   Darkapprentice77   Darrell spins again!
18:15   Darkapprentice77   the australian continues in 19th
18:16   Hound55   at least he's consistent...
18:16   Darkapprentice77   with lap 1 completed, the field looks like this: alliot, malenfant, rosenforth, van der boom, verwest, restov, bromberger and mignolet are the top 8
18:18   Darkapprentice77   lerby passes mazzacane on the outside of the peraltada!
18:19   Darkapprentice77   *roh not lerby
18:19   Darkapprentice77   rosenforth passes malenfant for 2nd
18:21   Darkapprentice77   his teammate mike stern is stuck in 24th
18:21   Hound55   ouch
18:22   Darkapprentice77   lap 4, still no retirements
18:24   Darkapprentice77   mignolet and restov are having a great battle for 6th
18:24   Darkapprentice77   verwest pulls off!
18:24   Darkapprentice77   he was running in 4th
18:25   Hound55   what was wrong with his car?
18:26   Darkapprentice77   lap 7: alliot, rosenforth, malenfant, van der boom, restov, bromberger, mignolet, byrne
18:27   Darkapprentice77   anderson retires!
18:28   Darkapprentice77   both verwest and anderson had suspension failures
18:31   Darkapprentice77   malenfant is right behind rosenforth
18:32   Darkapprentice77   darrell has made an impressive recovery: he's back up to 11th
18:32   Hound55   wow that is impressive
18:32   Darkapprentice77   shane sparks is out!
18:33   Darkapprentice77   and nikolov went out as well with brake trouble
18:34   Darkapprentice77   lap 12 out of 25: alliot, rosenforth, malenfant, van der boom, restov, bromberger, mignolet, byrne
18:34   Hound55   how much of a lead does alliot have?
18:35   Darkapprentice77   3.6 seconds over rosenforth
18:37   Darkapprentice77   it's more bad luck for DSR: one car out and one running in a lowly 25th
18:39   Darkapprentice77   eric basso running in the bottom 26th place is going very slowly
18:39   Darkapprentice77   i think he might have gearbox problems
18:40   Darkapprentice77   indeed he does, as basso comes into the pits to retire
18:41   Darkapprentice77   meantime alliot has increased his lead to 9 seconds
18:41   Hound55   wow, that's quite the lead
18:41      *** Nuppiz joined #prostgp
18:42   Darkapprentice77   hey, we're on lap 16 out of 25
18:42   Nuppiz   how's FSK doing?
18:42   Darkapprentice77   offenhouser retires with gearbox troubles aswell
18:43   Darkapprentice77   nurmester is currently 14th and anger is in 19th
18:43   Nuppiz   pff
18:43   Darkapprentice77   mantis is out
18:44   Darkapprentice77   there's a bit of smoke coming out of byrne's car
18:45   Darkapprentice77   lap 17: alliot, rosenforth, malenfant, van der boom, restov, mignolet, bromberger, darrell are your top 8
18:45   Darkapprentice77   sun-hoon roh is out
18:46   Darkapprentice77   so is anger!!!
18:46   Nuppiz   dodgy brakes again?
18:46   Darkapprentice77   nope, the peugeot engine blew up

18:49   Darkapprentice77   out goes byrne!
18:49   Darkapprentice77   he was running in a fine 9th place
18:50   Darkapprentice77   oh dear, pereria has an issue with his gearbox
18:50   Darkapprentice77   that's both GP cars out
18:51   Hound55   that's a lot of cars out of the race
18:51   Nuppiz   You obviously hadn't seen a Life GP race...
18:52   Nuppiz   haven't*

18:54   Nuppiz   84% of the cars retired in the previous race
18:54   Nuppiz   and with this rate, Nurmester can creep into the points
18:54   Darkapprentice77   renales retires!
18:54   Darkapprentice77   he was in 8th
18:54   Hound55   ive watched the highlights videos

19:10      *** Hound55 quit (Quit: http://www.mibbit.com ajax IRC Client)
19:11   Nuppiz   well, I missed most of it, but it was still fun
19:11   Darkapprentice77   once again, rosenforth set the fastest lap
19:11   Nuppiz   the fifth live broadcast I've been in during the past three days
19:12   Darkapprentice77   ROTR - Peugeot A20 for causing 11 out of the 20 retirements
19:14   Darkapprentice77   although to tell you the truth i cut down the average engine life for these cars so that everyone started with 30 minutes of average life
19:15   Nuppiz   it's much more than Life, though
19:15   Darkapprentice77   the race that i just ran went slightly over 30 minutes
19:15   Darkapprentice77   lol
19:15   Nuppiz   they start at one second
19:15   Nuppiz   and the upgrade cap is at five minutes
19:15   Darkapprentice77   not alot
19:16   Nuppiz   no, but the high random values have made it so that there isn't that many engine failures
19:16   Nuppiz   most mechanical retirements are brakes or suspension
19:16   Nuppiz   and gearboxes

Highlights Video
No logo in the middle of the video this time since I found a simpler way of compressing XFire's huge .avi files :)

I think reject of the race goes to Peugeot. An entire third of the field out with engine problems.
LONG LIVE MARUSSIA

Things I was wrong about:
Kimi to Ferrari, Perez out of McLaren, Maldonado to Lotus, Kobash comes back, Gutierrez stays, Chilton stays, Boullier leaves Lotus.

I stream Ustream, we all scream for PRC.

We will spend 10 on speed and 10 on composure to both our drivers.
To finish first, first you have to finish!
