After some negotiations and evaluations, Japanese Toru Fukui will be Rojo's second driver whilst German Julia Schilling was hired as reserve driver after some good results in minor European competitions.

What did she do in her past life to deserve this?

I'll test all liveries and helmets tomorrow when I'm back on my own computer. Meanwhile, I can confirm that the points system will be 12-9-7-5-4-3-2-1, with bonus points for fastest lap in all races and pole position in the feature.

Am I allowed to have a shootout between Oliveria and Marcia at the first test in order to help me decide who gets the second seat?

Actually I already signed Marcia to RTS, so you're free to sign Oliveria.

Oliveria it is then. Please try not to write off any cars during your stay at MRT. That's what the clown Melrose in the other car is for.

TRE would like to inquire Honda if there will be a problems with our Honda badging deal, given that Vittore used their US luxury division name, Acura. :) (OOCly, Pasta, you might want to reconsider that plan due to this conflict)

Also, Some Hopelessly Inaccurate Tabloid has came under fire again after Yui Megumi sued the tabloid over a false photograph, in similar case as Pippa Mann's, earlier. Reiko, her older sister, is also involved in this suit.

There's no problem. Honda have put the rights for the Acura name up for sale, and the Plus One Group are currently in negotiations to buy them :) Even if that falls through, Renault still supplied engines when they had a customer team in the 00s ;) OOcly, things are too far advanced for us to abandon the Acura plan

Hang on, I just checked the entry list and noticed that 9 teams are currently using Cosworth engines, yet only a maximum of 8 teams can be supplied by one engine manufacturer. As Restov were the last team to pick Cosworths, and because all Judd engines are taken as well (the last being fetched by Grands Travaux Inutiles), they have to use Zyteks now. The same applies to Winton, Kingfisher and Cynon's team as well.

After some more thinking I've decided to change the points system a bit. In the feature race, the system is now 15-12-9-7-6-5-4-3-2-1, i.e. the top 10 cars will score. In the heats the system is 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1, so the top 8 will score. Bonus points for fastest laps and pole positions will remain the same as in the previous season.

2016 calendar, minor changes possible

Post by Nuppiz »

So many good tracks, so few events to use them in... made quite a few compromises. Also expanded the calendar to 12+1 events.

Pre-season tests: Sandown, Australia

1. Australia: Penrith Speedway (Oran Park, with F2RWRS) - April 1-3
2. Mexico: Hermanos Rodriguez - April 15-17
3. France: Pau (with F3RWRS) - May 6-8
4. United Kingdom: Rockingham - May 13-15
5. Italy: Enna-Pergusa - June 3-5
6. USA: Laguna Seca (with GT-R) - June 17-19
7. Germany: Oscherschleben (with RTCC) - July 15-17
8. Netherlands: Zandvoort (with F3RWRS and RTCC) - July 29-31
9. Finland: Motopark Raceway - August 12-144
10. Belgium: Spa (with RTCC and GT-R) - September 9-11
11. Czech Republic: Brno (with F1RDS) - September 30-October 2
12. Japan: Suzuka (with RTCC) - October 14-16
NC. Nobushige Fukuda Memorial Trophy: Twin Ring Motegi Oval - October 28-30

How come Gianluigi Pazzini is missing from De Friis entry? Because if I remember correctly, I signed him during 2015 season.

EDIT: here it is...

De Friis-Lancia... Sounds quite good. If the proposal of new rules for 2016 happens, it's likely to be rebadged.

Yeah. Sorry to pull the rug out from underneath you but the deal was signed when it looked like all hope was lost for Pazzo's career. Now suddenly he's hit a rich vein of form and wanting to continue upwards rather than take a backwards step into IFRC. However, there are some other capable drivers out there. When they were team-mates in F3RWRS, Alessandro Lucarelli was a race winner while Pazzini was not. Meanwhile, Enrico Molinaro, the third driver, failed to score a point yet was the first of any of the three to get a drive. The whole thing was backwards I guess.

Yeah. As the forums were down for almost exactly one week, I've moved the deadline of the two-car possibility for Winton Racing and Kingfisher Racing to March 10th.

Will do Lucarelli's performance file now, then. As he's a F3RWRS race winner he ought to get quite good skills, compared to the rest of the field that only has a handful of good drivers.

Hmmm...I seem to have neglected my own team a bit. By having Pazzo remain in F2RWRS with MRT, Lucarelli taking his place at De Friis, and even Benoit Voeckler securing a seat at another team, that leaves me with an empty space where Agyemang-Badu once was. I might have put Fukuda there had it not been for his unfortunate passing - although he was also in line for a renewal at MRT I think.

I'm not sure I quite believe it myself, but...I think I've run out of my own academy drivers! For the first time ever! And the 2015 season isn't even over yet.

So...I can never bloody remember who it is that owns her, but, we're interested in running Marie Simon full time in the #1 car. Anyone know who is in charge of her?

Hmm? The blue lines do appear on your car, although they are slightly thinner than in the cars you mentioned.

Alright, I take you'll also badge your Zyteks as Ilmor again, right? I also need confirmation on whether or not you want to run a second car.
