What about 2009?

2009 he only subbed in from Valencia onwards to replace Piquet Jr.

True, but Monza came after Valencia and he raced there. So he has in a sense raced a full season.

Oh interesting interpretation, but I assumed the rule referred to a full calendar year rather than every circuit - otherwise there are plenty of loopholes.

To avoid conflicts like this, I'd suggest changing the MLP criteria to "drivers in their first full season OR with less than 20 GPs in total under their belts".

If we do that, then we ought to reduce the number to 15.

I've edited my predictions, it's in the original post. I thought i'd say this now so I wouldn't get penalised for making changes after FP2.

Indeed. Now that you mention it, Phoenix loses his bonus point for NOT changing it in his first post :P

Long time lurker, first time poster!

KalleVRTN's Predictions
2013 Australian Grand Prix:
1. Webber
2. Hamilton
3. Massa
4. Vettel
5. Räikkönen
6. Sutil
7. Hülkenberg
8. Button
9. Maldonado
10. Perez

Pole: Hamilton
Fastest lap: Vettel
First Retirement: Grosjean
ROTR: di Resta
IIDOTR: Maldonado
DBTMOTR: Gutierrez
Minor League Premiership: Bottas
Non-Qualifiers: none

A bit of wishful thinking there (Räikkönen doesn't take out Sutil), but I fear either Grosjean or Perez will cause an almighty start crash, taking out Alonso. And the 90% chance of rain means "bone dry" as we've seen often within the last few years :-)

There's literally no circumstance where Charles Pic wouldn't start the race as a direct result of qualifying badly - van der Garde was within 107%, and Pic was comfortably faster than him throughout all the practice sessions.

Two questions:
For the DNQ category, if someone had said Pic, would it count as a correct prediction or not?
For the DBTMOTR category, how is it scored?
And does Double Points apply before or after penalties?
