Until Monday morning perhaps? That would be the logical conclusion from what is being implied, but that would be unprecedented in recent decades in F1...

Running the race on Monday would be a logistical nightmare. The teams have organized transport back to home base, the marshals and other track-side personnel are not full-time employees and have to return to their day jobs, the viewers would also have to reorganize their hotels and travel itinerary etc. Maybe they would try to swim behind the safety car for a few laps and call it a race... But cost-wise I am not sure which would be more expensive - running on Monday or nut running at all.

PS: F1.com weather forecast is promising, "storm" for Sunday.

There was a 2003 CART race that got cancelled because of wildfires, IIRC. Anyone expecting situation like that?
