No, it's not meant to be, that's the first Scottish name that came to my head and I only realised after where I'd got it from

We would like to rebadge the engines as Toyota. :) Also, we would like to raise the objections of the event name of Round 4 race at Glen.

To be honest, I'm not going to bother with this series. And it doesn't really make much of a difference that the series's format has changed. 1 series like this is enough for me, and I've always been more interested in the Life GP Series. Even if I run better in this series.

After many years of success in the Australian V8 Supercar championship, the Holden Racing Team are making their first foray into international motorsport.

Team name: Holden Racing Team
Team: Nationality: Australian
Chassis: Van Diemen CC02
Engine: Holden
Tyres: Goodyear

Driver 1 name: Paul Tracy
Driver 1 Nationality: Canadian
Number: 26

Driver 2 name: Craig Lowndes
Driver 2 Nationality: Australian
Number: 15

(Hope this is allowed? - I have based it on the fact that Craig Lowndes was once linked with Team KOOL Green and that there is a local race - Holden want exposure ;))

Surely Jason Bright would be better than Lowndes? I mean, Lowndes is a legend and all but Bright's actually got a bit of experience racing in America. Plus, Lowndes was too busy getting paid obscene amounts to deal with the pile of crap that was the Fred Gibson AU Falcon at that point

EDIT: Oh wait, didn't realised I ended up with an entry in this after all with Bright as a driver. Forget everything I just said

Anyway, JLD will run Firestone tyres and the Lola B2/00 for this season. Bell will have the #73 and Bright having the #74. Apologies for not finding all this out before.

I would like to say that Conrad Rautenbach shouldn't be allowed to compete on basis of lack of experience.

Also is there still time to enter a two car team? The team will be called Checkered Flag Motorsport and will run two cars, a #80 for Jorg Scrattenheim and a second #60 car that is vacant at the moment.

Hmm, I agree. All he did before 2002 was a bit of rallying. Jefferson will have to find a new driver.

Still, he has more experience before starting his career than Dennis Vitolo

I've also created a results table for the upcoming season if anyone wants to copy it for their team (although some round locations are still listed as TBA).

I'm not sure if you need a sponsor, but in case, Mignolets car sponsor is WC-Eend and Bourdais' car sponsor Captain Iglo. I have no idea what Van Gottorp wants on his car, but i assume it's something german.

Just had a thought...

My livery I've designed didn't use one of the templates - I just added some sponsors to the Dallara from iRacing using my sub-par graphic editing skills here. Is it a requirement to use one of the templates from the first post?

If so, which template do I use for the Van Diemen chassis?

It's not totally required, you can request me to do a livery for you ;)

The Van Diemen chassis template is found in the Penske folder in the .rar. I renamed the chassis to Van Diemen since Penske stopped making their own chassis after 1999.
