In reply to Bleu's post, I already did Yas Marina. Can other users make tracks from the same tracks as other users?

(That may sound confusing, but I couldn't think of any other way to say it...)

I think it's possible, since roblomas didn't forbid it in his rules.

roblomas52 didn't make a rule prohibiting it, and as long as the redesigns are different it shouldn't matter.

I can admit I was planning to take Moscow Raceway, but it seems that the photo on gmap-pedometer was a bit too old.

Here we go:

- Choose an oval circuit anywhere from the world
- Build a road course which uses at least one oval corner
- Startline must be the one used in the oval
- The circuit must make a loop both inside and outside the oval, but shall not go through any grandstands
- Maximum track length is two times the oval length, minimum the exact length of the oval

The runner of the thread is whoever the most recent person to remember the deadlines and announce them is, but it's not a position with any power or permanence.

My first attempt at this with the Milwaukee mile and wow it's quite addictive. I made several versions of a street oval before deciding to take a right turn on an oval !

Here's my attempt. Tried to keep everything within the confines of the land that the track owns, while obeying the rule that no grandstands may be demolished, hence the use of the a parallel access road use. Rejectful loop, there. But what can you do? And likely to be the only European entry?

Had heaps of fun with this one. Tried to keep it as interesting a track as possible while still keeping the majority of the track viewable from the grandstand. I do like the idea of having cars going behind the grandstand.

And yes, I used the pit road, so sue me.

I had a clear best and worst, the other three were hard to differentiate so I tried to visualise a lap in my head and came out with these ratings
