I know, I just have a habit of making a few logos just to fill the wiki infoboxes up. Of course, they don't have to be the final product; they're just placeholders really.

Plus, it gives me the chance to try out new things on Photoshop.

You have to appreciate that such a task is extremely difficult. The Gillet and ENB logos use two shapes that are similar but far apart enough that they can't integrate seamlessly. So coming up with a logo idea that doesn't look like shite is very difficult. I've been trying to think of a Gillet ENB logo idea for a while now but haven't got anything good yet.

Also, there aren't any HQ versions of the existing logos, so redrawing both logos (or the required components from each) would require a bit of vector work. I would consider it if I had Illustrator at home, but I don't anymore, so I'll probably leave it to Ataxia if he wants it, seeing as he has Adobe CS.

I kinda bodged a lot of this together seeing that, as Stramala said, there's not any real good quality versions around. For example, I lifted the propeller from the Mercedes logo and edited it for use here. I added some textures to break up the block colours as well.

Please feel free to give some feedback, as I'm not convinced that this is actually any good.

I think maybe it'd look better if you flipped the propeller around so the top spoke is at the bottom.

The old ENB logo is actually a steering wheel, not a propeller.

Here's a revised version, taking into account Stramala's concern on the central piece:

BCS, I've decided to toe the line with the original ENB logo...so I'll keep the spokes there for now.

I especially like that it takes the sun from the Nepalese flag - I was reading that the sun signifies aggression and warfare, whereas the moon in the flag represents peace and calm.

So the steering wheel idea has been used by others, i'm thinking of something else for a RonDen Racing Engineering logo, and i decided it has to feature a scorpion! Combined with the traditional colours of Blue,Orange and White.

The idea came to me when i was drawing animals on my niece's drawing board, and the only thing i managed was a funny looking crab. Now crabs are kind of lame, but that lead me to a lobster, which is actually even more lame, but that lead me to a scorpion which is badass. (and i also happen to be a scorpio, and i had recently seen a show of The Scorpios (not to be confused with The Scorpions or Scorpions))
I think insects, spiders, decapods etc. are quickly overlooked when searching for an iconic animal, yet, quite many people are scared of them, and sometimes, rightfully so.

Well can i request something for Grands Travaux Inutiles too: which would be something like this: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/571/yc2.png/
Basically the idea is an 'autobahn sign' being stuck in an infinite loop, with a warning sign beneath it. (also it by coincidence, it has the same colours as RonDen)
I suppose that will not be a lot of work, it's meant to be a simple road sign. It's just that i really can't even draw something simple as this on a computer :oops:

Well, I'll leave the GTI logo for later this week, but for now, here is my intepritation of the new RonDen Racing Engineering logo;
