Because you had $5m left after signing your engines, and then proceeded to spend FAR too much on drivers...

Yeah, 4 million for Heinz-Harald Frentzen? In 1990? 2 million for Allan McNish? 1 million on a test driver? That's not exactly going to leave you with a rosy budget, especially when you're Eurobrun.

If anything you should have got Merc to pay YOU to put Frentzen in the car.![]()
You also should have put another paydriver in the testing role, and cut your price for McNish by at least 50%. But I guess as we all know in the PMMF, management by incompetence and ignorance is where the real fun is.

So, AGS will now have...
Driver 1: Bertrand Gachot
Driver 2: Alex Caffi
Test Driver: Emmanuel Collard
I hope that's good to go, because it's a promising lineup.

Our program for Silverstone is all 3 cars working on Active suspension
As for Paul Ricard: Arnoux and Hakkinen will be working on engine, while Damon Hill - on gearbox.
Looks like we are working mainly on mechanical aspects, neglecting aerodynamics

Well, you started it up...I just finished it off.
The part that amazes me is the sheer quantity of Italian drivers and Italian registered teams. That's tailed off significantly in recent years...Freeze-O-Kimi wrote:This is great. He could have put in the username's as well or is that not allowed?
No, it's best that the information is as clear as possible. It can be added to the discussion page, but we don't generally add usernames to the wiki pages because we've got an idea of who manages whom.
