23rd and 26th for lola kind of expected, lack of a V10 seem to hurt hopefully a high rate of attrition we can get a result similar to australia
Re: F1 Management Series 1997 - R1: Australian Grand Prix!
A little disappointing after the good results from testing and the Australian GP.

Both cars nicely in the top 10 so far. Hopefully they won't be so fragile on raceday, though with Interlagos being a known carbreaker, that might prove to be a tall order getting the cars to the flag.

19th and 21st is a little disappointing for Tyrrell, but with the always possibility of rain and/or high rates of unreliability, maybe one of our drivers can squeak in the points or at least finish with another top-10.

Brazilian Grand Prix - Race
It was inevitable Michael Schumacher would take a win sooner rather than later. Although Frentzen made a good start to take the initial lead, after the first pitstop phase Schumacher was able to leap ahead of his compatriot and hold onto a victory. Alesi gave him a late run for his money, but Schumacher had control and maintained the gap to the Frenchman. Mika Hakkinen managed McLaren's first points of 1997 on the last podium berth, and Alexander Wurz was in impressive form too; the Austrian was running in 4th until his suspension failed on lap 58. Greg Moore was also on for a point again, but for the second race in succession his car failed him right at the death. This allowed Irvine to continue his good start with the Benetton team with another top 6 finish.

Another impresive drive by hill to finish 12th. Lola are only one of 2teams to see both drivers finish un the two gp so hopefully we can capatalise on this. Although pedro lamy needs to buck up his ideas or he may not last for much longer
Re: F1 Management Series 1997 - R2: Brazilian Grand Prix!
As a spectator i can say that this series looks very interesting.
Williams and Ferrari will have a good fight for the championship.
I think Prost is able to score points but only if Fisichella can finish a race.
It's very impressive wath Hill does with the Lola.

Re: F1 Management Series 1997 - R2: Brazilian Grand Prix!
It looks like we at Jordan have uncovered a young gem in the form of Alex Wurz. Shame the car is still too fragile to take advantage of his undoubted raw pace. Johnny Boy needs to pick it up a bit.

Argentine Grand Prix - Qualifying
An interesting qualifying took place in Buenos Aires, and although Williams chalked up their third pole in a row the grid below them was quite interesting. Olivier Panis managed to pip Michael Schumacher to 2nd on the grid, whilst Canadian Greg Moore outqualified Mika Hakkinen for the first time. Damon Hill is another who surprised; the move to Lola seems to have fired the reigning champion up, whilst Shinji Nakano failed to impress with a huge gap to his team-mate. One thing's for sure, we look like we'll get an interesting race.

Well, after the disappointment of the race at Brazil, scoring a double DNF. I am glad that Tyrrell improved somewhat in terms of one-lap pace, Kristensen managed to get it up to 14th, but Brack is still struggling in the other car, hopefully he gets his head out of his butt soon.

Argentine Grand Prix - Race
Every now and again, we have a race that produces a number of high-profile retirements, and mixes up the order a large amount. This was a good example, as only nine cars managed to make it to the end. Olivier Panis continued his excellent weekend and capped it off with his first win for Ferrari ahead of Michael Schumacher. Eddie Irvine also continued his scoring form after coming home in 3rd place. Yamaha had a good weekend too, as Takagi scored his first ever F1 points whilst Jos Verstappen rounded out the top 6 despite being run off of the road at the start of the race. As the preseason testing window opens after this race, there will plenty for the teams to digest after this round.

After Round 3 (Buenos Aires), you will be able to make plans to test.
You may select any venue that would a) be realistically used to test cars and b) available to use in GP2. Each test will cost a base price of £500k and you may focus on one aspect (top speed, grip or reliability; just like in pre-season). You can also choose to focus on two areas in one test, but this would cost you £1m. You can also share the circuits with other teams if you wish. Sharing the circuit will cost half the price for each team, no matter how many teams test.
You are permitted to hold a maximum of FOUR private tests each per year. There may be some FIA-sanctioned free tests throughout the year, however these will not affect your quota of four.
This window is now open.

If he's got no points by mid-season, Honda will assess the options...

It would still have been a classified 10th place finish. If Lola don't score during the season, the difference between between a classified and unclassified 10th might make all the difference...

Lola are a bit disappointed at the double DNF but with Damon Hill running in 10th place at the time we got to look at the positives.
Testing wise Lola well test at Barcelona and as you can focus on two areas in one test we will focus on
Top Speed
Grip
Hopefully we can improve the car and move closer to the front and with Hill doing wonders with the Lola points are our target

He was in tenth, so there was no net loss.
It would still have been a classified 10th place finish. If Lola don't score during the season, the difference between between a classified and unclassified 10th might make all the difference...
A 10th place probably wouldnt make that that much of a difference we have had an 8th place finish in Australia so the only way a team could beat us in the constructers is if they finish in the points or gain a 7th place

Another double-DNF? Argh.
As a result, Jordan would like to join Benetton and Minardi at their test session around Brands Hatch, focusing on reliability. All three drivers will be taking part.

Noted, guys. Everyone automatically uses all three drivers, so Verstappen will be joining Stewart whether they like it or not.

Excellent. Panis and Schumacher will be equal contenders for the title until one is mathematically eliminated.

You'd lose a bit of money, doing the maths he's done about £350,000 worth of races so the rest would be deducted from your budget unless you can find somebody else to cover the shortfall.

In that case as i cant think of anybody decent enough who would be willing to pay for a drive and i doubt Torso Marques would do any better, ill have to keep Lamy in the seat looks like the hopes of Lola rest solely on Hill

Fantastic

Prost will test at Silverstone and focus on reliability. We would welcome other teams to test with us
