I know some of the roads are a bit narrow and also made of dirt, but you can build new roads, so there.

A track around my former university town of Kingston-upon-Thames. I had originally wanted to make use of the QE2 Bridge but the route would have been far too long.

Oh, hello, slightly off-topic, but guess who lives there - nice use of the one-way system you got there! :P

NB: Slightly annoyed, too, because I have a virtually identical track that I was going to use as my idea!

Of course,a track in a city that has more bridges than people,I think, Hamburg!:http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=6039114
My friend's USB drive spoiled, spilled tea on her laptop and had a bird poo in her hand.

What did she do in her past life to deserve this?

Sorry to spoil your inspiration! But of course, you realise that it's already a variation of a suggested GP that Autosport came up with about 10 years ago... (Link to Evening Standard article.) And you'll understand the challenges for the drivers of the gradient changes round the one-way system as it passes under the railway then round past the Rotunda.

And I think the car parks for the university and town hall would be brilliant for some grandstands and those buildings in particular could be used for hospitality? And being Thames-side would be brilliant for the photographers...

Yes, the railway bit'd be a problem, as well as sections where the barriers'd have to be shared on both sides.

And I can't believe any newspaper would actually publish something as ridiculous as this. Much as I love the place, Kingston is hardly "The UK's answer to Monte Carlo"!

New competition:

Many drivers this year don't have a home Grand Prix, so your task is to build a circuit in Finland, France, the Netherlands, Venezuela or Mexico. Apart from that, there are the following rules:

-Circuit length must be between 3.5 and 8 km.

-No more than 60% of your circuit may be built on existing roads.

About 49% of the track is on existing roads.
