Since I've decided that the second IFRC seat means absolutely nothing to me now, I've decided to go for the record for most driver changes for one car in a season. Therefore, at each round, the second MRT seat will now be available to pretty much whoever the hell wants to drive the car. :P

EDIT: So far, here are the stooges that have been suckered into driving the car, with approval from their DEC holders of course:

Mike Stern - Australia (Two Australians in the team for Australia was too tempting for both Lappy and the Mad Uncle)
Giconi Ocorie - Mexico (Yes, he of F2RWRS fame with approval from the overlord aerond himself)
Herberto Dominguez - France (Because doing double-duty at Pau can only be a good thing according to Dark)
Alberto Cara - Italy (As it's highly unlikely he'll be doing anything else this year, so Klon allowed him to drive the car to appease Mad Uncle El Presidente)
Bobby Dollar - United States (Well, he needs to get money to run his team somehow, and the Mad Uncle was only too willing to oblige)
Micko Glotch - Netherlands (One last hurrah before fading into obscurity courtesy of eurobrun)
Alberto Donegro - Finland (Heard of him? Nope, me neither but the overlord said I can use him based on his F3RWRS experience from 2014)
Pieter Kickert - Belgium (Lappy wanted to see if the old fart could do triple-duty for the 100th F1RWRS race fortnight)
Andoni Urrutia - Russia (See Donegro)
Yoshi Suzuki - Japan (Because Japanese Round + Japanese Driver = Profit. According to Lappy anyway)

The rest are currently TBA

No chance you'd like to give Komarek a go in the UK race? I don't think there's an F3RWRS race on...

EDIT: It can't be De Boer, on second thoughts...I've just remembered the terms of his Octan contract.

Takagi Racing Enterprises
26th March 2016, morning session
Car 1: Yui Megumi
Car 2: Ryan Knittefeld
26th March 2016, afternoon session
Car 1: Hiroto Tojo (so he can prepare himself for F1RWRS)
Car 2: Ryan Knittefeld

27th March 2016, morning session
Car 1: Jimmy Hopkins (USA, age 16)
Car 2: Niko Erikoinen (FIN, age 28)
27th March 2016, afternoon session
Car 1: Tetsuya Takagi
Car 2: Jimmy Hopkins

(The new drivers for Day 2 session are on insistence of the new part-owner CZi Capital [can you please add that logo to both TRE cars, Nuppiz] which insisted on running them as part of their new driver development scheme. They are available for hire, although I am planning to put the Bully guy [Hopkins] on Mecha's F1RDS seat as Kurniawan have to leave due to eligibility issues.)

And please, when someone else other than Knittefeld is in the second car, do not put his sponsors on that car.

The MRT merry-go-round in the 21 car is complete. However, if Melrose in the other car proves to be worse than a few of the one-off stooges, we may start having a few driver changes there as well. :D

Yeah, if it isn't too much asked, could you please think thoroughly what you want the next time you want to make modifications to your livery? It isn't much fun to open up PSP just to move one logo.

Anyway, the change has been made. I'm not bothering with screenies at the moment, though.

With the recent news concerning AdrianSutil, Kingfisher Racing needs a temporary manager here as well. As Aerond is the first user on the waiting list, he'll be appointed as such by default. Should he refuse, then the position is given to the next user on the list, etc.

As Aerond declined to manage Kingfisher on the IRC chat, the offer has been relayed to IslandAutomatic. He/she has until the 21st August to accept or decline the offer, after which pycku is the next in line for the post.

Entry accepted. As all of the other engines have been taken, you'll get Zyteks which you can rebadge if you wish. At this late stage in the pre-season I'd say it's best for you to stick with Ashley Lilly, as all of the other good drivers have already been signed by now.

Are your livery plans still the same as here: viewtopic.php?p=222416#p222416 ?

Ganon agrees with you.

But rest assurred, the car is unlikely to make it through the semifinal heats with a muppet like Brooks driving it, so you only have to watch it in one highlights video per each weekend.

I just noticed during the recent broadcast that Ryan Knittefeld is also driving in the Rejectrucks Super Series. Now, on most weekends this isn't a problem, but during the Italian and US IFRC rounds RTSS is simultaneously racing elsewhere, making it impossible for Knittefeld to drive the full season in both series.

This means that FMecha, you need to find a replacement to Knittefeld for at least those two weekends. Although it must be said that I hate drivers double-dutying intentionally and suggest you find someone else to drive the #8 for the whole season (you've got a few test drivers to choose from).

The non-championship Nobushige Fukuda Memorial Trophy has been confirmed to take place at Autopolis on the last weekend of October 2016. The race will be contested over 54 laps for a total length of a bit over 250 kilometers, and all 42 cars are guaranteed to start.

FMecha, I still haven't heard of the replacement for Ryan Knittefeld in at least the two rounds mentioned above. Failure to nominate a replacement in time will result in the #8 car missing those rounds altogether.

Re: 2016 IFRC season: confirm your test entries

Winton Racing would like to announce, in accordance to last year in the RoLFS's Super Nippon 200 event (and giving quite a bit of time in advance to prepare the livery, I suppose), that there will be again a one-off livery specially for the Nobushige Fukuda Memorial Trophy event. All green will be replaced with white, like last year, and we will be instead sponsoring Monster Khaos instead of the regular flavour.

It's still quite a long way away, but I figured if I mentioned it now I wouldn't have to worry about forgetting it later!

Winton would also be willing to loan Hannefield to FMecha for those two rounds, in addition.

I'll send Tetsuya-kun to drive on rounds that Ryan will miss. Just noticed that. :)

Interesting stuff. I imagine we'll have a full on Miccoli vs Hawkin battle for the title! IBR vs Jones is back again...

Mr Winton wrote:Excellent. We're midfielders, meaning we're very strong for a good place this year. I hope our car will provide more reliable results than our sharp fall last year, after dominating the first few qualifying sessions and being nowhere in the races after. We were also right, as Yaname performed stronger than Hannfield but the two are reasonably on the same pace. Knowing that our car and drivers do well in the rain is a nice bonus, but we'd like to improve our dry performance as Hannfield finishing 15th in his first session is unsatisfactory.

Good luck to all you guys, we'll try to stay ahead or behind you, whatever!

Jan de Friis wrote:This is great! It seems that we'll be in the higher in the field this season. Last year we had 2.5 points, so for this season it'll only get better. Alessando will surely be able to challenge for wins and Karl should be able to score points quite easily.
