What possible reason could you have for venturing into this dump?

What makes you think Scotland is a dump? At least we can all agree that my current location of Essex is a dump, right?

Anyway, in answer to your question, I am collecting some Autosport magazines that I obtained with the aid of an online auction website...

Car. Plus, it'll be 26 issues of Autosport from 1993, plus 50 from 1994, and all from 1996 and 1997. No way I'm paying the postage on that, nor the excess baggage on a plane. And carrying all that on a train? Wouldn't be very easy on the London tube...

I realise your situation is tough, the one you explained about before editing.
But I believe giving up all your hobbies when something bad occurs in life, is only going to make it harder to cope.

I'm baaaaaack....

Well kinda, only for the weekend. Temporary wi-fi :)

Anyway, I'm weak as shite and look like I've aged about 20 years. I decided to not shave my head because I wanted (for some stupid reason) to show people that I'm fighting something they don't want but decided to get rid of the hair and save a bit of dignity.

My attitude to life and everything in general has changed. Basically I now think of life like a 'bathplug you' situation. Live or die sort of shite. I'm pumped full of drugs on a daily basis and most of the time I can't bathplug move to take a piss so I feel like a cripple. Nice.

Anyway, I've had a look at the RWRS teams and would like to shoot whoever this Brucie Kipper bloke is driving ONE OF MY CARS... But nice to see everything else getting by in it's usual-reject way.

I'm here until Sunday evening but probably won't have the energy to join the chatroom for the GP tomorrow so I'll pop back now and again when I'm not sleeping.

P.S Arsenal signed Ozil?! Sweet..

Sounds like you adopted the racing driver mentality!

I also like the nickname...Brucie Kipper...much like the fish, he stinks! He's an RoLFS graduate. I don't think much of him, but let's see what happens.

I realise they are quite lengthy and therefore probably not worth the short time you have with internet, but if you wish, all the F1RWRS races this year are on YouTube to watch. If any race is worth watching for you, it's probably the third, because A) Mark Dagnall made an absolute fool of himself, which is always funny and B) It's the only time your team has scored this year...despite Neuburg nearly ruining it!

My laptop finally gave up the ghost last night, the battery is completely dead and it won't work plugged in anymore. The earliest I see myself possibly having a new one is next weekend. I can still get on the forum from my phone or from the university computers, but I won't be on here regularily until further notice.

This obviously means Predicament Predictions scores will be postponed again.

Like East Londoner, I am also having laptop problems (still!)

My old laptop overheats constantly. My new laptop is on it's way back to Scotland after refusing to even boot up after just 3 days of use.

So both my series are therefore on hiatus, annoyingly midway through action!

I'm going to spend a large part of the rest of the year on my family's cabin, and while I'm still able to visit the forum regularly with mobile connections, LGPS (and IFRC, if other classes advance to that point) won't resume until early January.

Replace "my family's cabin" with "my parents's house" and "LGPS (and IFRC)" with "Alternate F1 (excluding the second Korea race which I already simmed), Game Show Cup, FRWS and SARS" and you got my situation.

Just thought I'd mention this now, just so you can keep it in mind in a week or two.

From Monday, I'll be revising for exams which will be the following week, and seeing as there's three of them I need to do plenty of work. So, this means my competitions will be a little bit...neglected for the time being. After the 17th Jan, I'm going to be a lot more free.

I intend on polishing off the 1997 season of my F1 Management game over the next couple of days. That will then have (another!) break of a couple of weeks before I pick up 1998. I don't know how quickly the pace of the RWRS stuff will go, but I'll try and squeeze in RDS whenever I need to if I've got a spare half-an-hour. I'll still be here no doubt during periods of pure procrastination, but if you need me urgently just chuck me a PM if I've not emerged in chat or anything.

On a similar note, although I am giving in an assignment today (brilliant deadline, uni. Right after Christmas and New Year!), I begin an 8-week placement on Monday, so I won't be around on here much during the week until the end of February/start of March.

I'm off to London for the weekend in a few short hours time (£13 return on the train = WIN, though the catch is, it's the first train of the day I need to get...), and unless I can scrounge some wi-fi from somewhere, I won't be available until Sunday night. :)

Now,I'd say I've been fairly active on the forums, popping in once a day to check in at the very least on the PMMF. That, however, will change.

My A Levels are in 2 years time, and I've just joined a Junior College in Singapore. This means school runs until 5 o'clock, 7 on days with activities, and added with homework, self-study, long travelling time and a pretty busy social life, there will be, frankly, zero time for me to pop in on weekdays and little time to pop by on weekends.

This does not mean any series will be taking a hiatus, just that there will be far, far less frequent updates. Especially if 500 Server Errors block my free time I have on my computer :P .
My friend's USB drive spoiled, spilled tea on her laptop and had a bird poo in her hand.

I'm going on a school trip to Paris tomorrow, and won't be back until Wednesday, Tuesday night at the earliest. If there's wi-fi in the hotel, I'll be able to respond to messages as normal, if not, I'll have 4 days in the dark.

I know it isn't the longest absence, but if anything urgently comes up in the PMMF that needs my attention, all I ask is that you wait until Thursday to hear from me. Shouldn't cause too many problems, but just posting in case anything does happen, sod's law and all that. :)

Yeah, it's an Ibis. I've heard there's free wifi there so that should be good.

While after a 8 days holiday starting from next week, it'll be followed directly by a week of exams, so I'll likely use early part of holiday to sort out the season file for 1994 Rejects-1 and the templates, but the entry could only opened by around last week of March
