I'd like to give the engine manufacturers to people who don't run teams (apart from manufacturer teams). But if not enough people are interested in becoming an engine manufacturer, you can take one.

Re: 1979 Virtual F1 - confirm your entries
Willy Kauhsen Racing confirms their entry, with a Kauhsen WK chassis, and probably a BMW engine.
Now i know i can't confirm drivers yet, but the plan is to get long time Kauhsen stalwart Klaus Ludwig as a first driver, and plenty of japanese pay-drivers in the second car. We're specificially interested in Hoshino, Hasemi, Fushida, Kuwashima, Takahashi, Takahare and Nakajima.

Well, Mr Crazed, Power-hungry Megalomaniac, let me introduce you to Wizzie Ligier, the most assholish manager you will ever meet. Now, we had a deal with the old management at Ferrari that we run a junior driver of theirs (read: de Angelis), in exchange for free engines. We'd prefer keeping the deal as is, but if you cancel the contract, we keep de Angelis as collateral for breaking the contract.
Capisce?

Takagi, as the outgoing manager of Ferrari, I have one favour to ask.
Do not let Ligier buy engines from you next season. They betrayed us. We do not take betrayal lightly. Also, Elio de Angelis is in your young driver programme, should you wish to promote him in place of one of the current drivers.

Alright, Lotus will use Renault engines again in 1979 coupled to the 80 chassis (we're ditching the 79). We'd like to keep Niki Lauda and Rick Mears in the race seats.

You can have Wolf, but engine and driver signing will follow later.
Entries are closed for new managers now. So Fittipaldi (the team) won't continue into 1979.

Re: 1979 Virtual F1 - confirm your entries
You can start signing drivers and sponsors now.
Please list drivers in order of priority, with the amount of money you're offering, and the lenght of the proposed contract. Remember that Pryce, Hunt and Arnoux already have contracts for 1979, and Jarier isinjured until round twelve.
Example:
1.Driver A / 50 000 credits / 1 year
2.Driver B / 0 credits / 8 races
3.Driver C / has to pay 20 000 credits / 9 races
.
.
.
Please list sponsors in the following way:
Tier 1 sponsor (by priority)
1) Tier 1 Sponsor A
2) Tier 1 Sponsor B
.
.
.
Other sponsors (by priority)
1) Tier 2 or 3 sponsor A
2) Tier 2 or 3 sponsor B
3) Tier 2 or 3 sponsor C
.
.
.
A list of sponsors can be found in the first post. Some sponsors offer Tier 2 and Tier 3 deals. Please state if you want to sign a Tier 2, or a Tier 3 deal for those.

Re: 1979 Virtual F1 - submit driver and sponsorship plans
Sadly, I'm gonna have to pull out of this series, as I'm struggling to keep up with all the series I'm entered in. Anyone can take over March if they so wish.

Re: 1979 Virtual F1 - submit driver and sponsorship plans
The x2, or x3 refers to the fact that these companies can sponsor 2 or 3 teams.
