They then announce that if a car is 1mm over the wight line, it is eaqual to instant disqualification.

As a business, yes. But with FOM gone, F1 still is racing, and even if it was modified street cars with open wheel concepts, it was a great series.

The FIA tells FOM to get rid of their petrified moneybag holders so the teams get more equalized prize money.

Because all cars were based on the Red Bull.

The Indycar series organisers went back to the aero packages from the 2005 Champ Car Series but they still used the rear wheel pods from the DW12...

Overtaking becomes rare, and the races go back to being processional like they were in the mid-2000s. Engine failures are still a thing of the past.

Williams announce that they're sacking both Bottas and Massa, and two new drivers show up in their cars for the 2014 season.

You failed at ruining the dream. :P

Anyways....

After his Williams stint, he proves he's past it midway through 2014 and spends the rest of those 5 years as the safety car driver.

Susie Wolff gets a F1 race seat in 2014 and proves to be surprisingly good.

What he's done is signed a sponsorship deal with a manufacturer of those huge foam hands usually seen at wrestling events (I refuse to call them "matches"), Gladiators or Robot Wars, and is contractually obliged by those sponsors to wave the huge foam finger at the camera as many times as possible during a race weekend, whether he's on pole and/or has won, or whether he's been lapped by Max Chilton. Imagine that. No, not Fingerboy being lapped by Max Chilton, funny though it would be, imagine that huge foam hand with its huge foam finger being thrust at a TV audience of - I would say millions, but it might be merely thousands by the end of the season - many, many times during every race weekend, every TV appearance, even the adverts he does on RTL during the 3,000 ad breaks they have during the race. I absolve myself of all responsibility for an outbreak of high blood pressure amongst F1 Rejects forum inhabitants.

And now for the dream: what I've widely predicted for years comes true, and a Chinese F1 team is set up with the promise of a bottomless pit of Chinese money behind it that makes Red Bull's finances look like HRT's.

Because the team owners got a lot dumber. The less stable teams sink and we're left with seven teams by 2016.
