I dont mind as long as more people go the distance this year instead of dropping out before the 1st race

Maybe we need a non-F1 season? For some reason, touring cars is springing to mind

You may have noticed me putting on holiday mode... If you haven't read the news (for those living in Canada and the United States, and if you've heard this elsewhere I'm not surprised), a huge ice storm came by where I live and took out the power since Sunday... It just came on an hour ago... Needless to say I haven't been able to get on the internet since then...

With that now done (hopefully) I plan to take some time off batracer for the time being... Hopefully I'll be back on when I have a stable connection :?

BTCC wouldn't be too bad, I guess... though I demand Collieafc pick a reject car this time so he doesn't walk away with the title yet again. :P

Deal - I tried last time, but after giving people some time to pick before I did, it was only the big 4 left!

Ditto for me. I always like to have everyone pick first before I grab a seat. Next time (and that's and if) I'm having no regrets!

I dont mind, I am happy to go along with the majority. Maybe we should let some more users suggest their preferences first? Though Mid engine sounds good as (like BTCC) it doesnt need lots of players.

Similarly, I am thinking of doing a "points" system for 2014 - as in we get points on where we finish each season. (So if you finish 3rd overall in BTCC you would get 4 points) and see who ends up the winner at the end of 2014. To make it fair, it could be best 6 games or something, so as not to punish new players or those who need to skip a season. I certainly dont mind doing the organising if there is interest

I'm not really a big fan of the MR2 series, I'd prefer BTCC if at all possible.

Blergh, if I wanted BTCC I'd join one of the public games. :P If we're having another season then make it something that is only available in private.

That would be F1 2007-2012, and we already did F1. I am planning to use the Toyota MR2 carset. ;)

Congratulations to Collieafc for the victory this season! :D And now for the new season, Rejects of MR2...

Players will need to be registered and logged in before they can enter the private game. When logged in, clicking the following URL will take you to the join game page:

http://batracer.com/-cj?&D&72776

Alternatively, you can select "private games" from the menu and enter the number "72776" into the box. The game password is "Talent". Take care not to accidentally join a public game by mistake.

Let's also recognize my teammate Eero Hurmerinta for finishing every single race of the season. With Tyrrell. Quite an accomplishment, in my book.

Indeed - there was several good results (and wins!) from Arrows and Minardi too! A fair few unsung heroes who capitalised on other peoples blunders and were solid from start to finish

Are people choosing road or race for the MR2s? I dont want to pick road if I end up the only one!

I joined, but I advise against anyone joining Riccetti Competition with me. I've got so much crap going on now, I'm struggling to keep up with my BTCC series, and I'm bloody leading the championship! (Hence why I disappeared in the '97 championship)

It's also the first time I've ever done this series, so I'll be rubbish.

Sure it is, do you really think a V8 in a Catheram 7 would actually work?

Likewise. I have never heard of whatever the bathplug it is I'm driving. I just saw you could put a V8 in it, and thought 'Murica!
