Post by FA1L »

Simply, the champion is the worst full-season driver!

There would not be any entries in the 50s, so every driver that took part in all races but Indy 500 will be elible for the championship.

1. Johnny Claes (4 times the worst out of the full season drivers)
2. Philippe Etancelin (1 win)
3. Louis Rosier
4. Juan Manuel Fangio
5. Giuseppe Farina (1 win)

1951
1. Johnny Claes (3 wins)
2. Louis Chiron (1 win)
3. Louis Rosier (2 wins)
4. Luigi Villoresi
5. Giuseppe Farina
6. Jose Froilan Gonzales
7. Alberto Ascari
8. Juan Manuel Fangio (1 win)

1952
1. Robert Manzon (4 wins)
2. Giuseppe Farina (1 win)

1953
1. Maurice Trintignant (3 wins)
2. Luigi Villoresi (2 wins)
3. Mike Hawthorn (2 wins)
4. Nino Farina (1 win)
5. Juan Manuel Fangio
6. Alberto Ascari

What criteria are you basing this on to rank the drivers? (Sorry I don't know much about the 50s so can't work it out for myself)!

The worst driver that drove the full season is the champion. The race winner is the worst full-season driver finishing the race.

So for last year one of the Caterham/Marussia drivers is likely to be champion as they all completed the season?

Most likely Max Chilton as he finished every race of the season!
