G'day crew,
Happy Straya Day! To celebrate, here's our Off-Season podcast, brim full of off-season topical goodness.
[BEWARE: recorded close to the witching hour, it contains some of our worst rambling ever.]
We cover Kamui's return triumphant, McLaren's internal intrigue, the launches and/or fleeting images of 2014 car designs thus far, and top it all off with a dedicated segment analysing IN-DEPTH the rules and regulations for the coming season, and how they will either destroy or save F1 as we know it.
I'm heading overseas for a few weeks to rugby conferences in London and Philadelphia, so this will have to take you through February. We'll see you for a Season Preview in early March.
Cheers,
Jamie

Jamie, you should visit the 'Rocky Steps' while in Philadelphia, at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
While running up the 72 stone steps, you should also shadowbox a bit. For every right hook, you could think of Luca Badoer. For every left uppercut,
you could spare a thought for Gaston Mazzacane. If you headbutt, picture Shinji Nakano.
The 72 steps could represent the '72 season when Niki Lauda scored all of 0 pts with 0 LLF's.
After all, the 'Rocky Balboa Steps' are a sort of metaphor for an underdog, or an everyman rising to a challenge.
When you have reached the top, and turn 'round to face Philadelphia City Hall, please shout to the Philadelphians from all of us here;
'Brothers of Philly! Cradle of Liberty. Hear ye, hear ye! I'm here to remind you of the Rejects in our society. Don't forget these wonderful underdogs who brighten our lives. The Yoong's, the Londono-Bridge's, the George Bush's, the Wurz's. These are the people we should never forget.
For if this is truly the city of brotherly love, the city that loves you back, you will join me now in our sacred quest for Reject equality.
Let's gooo!!'
And then start jogging away and see what kind of following you get. Maybe people will run after you much like they did Forrest Gump:
Oh, did you know the name of the Mayor in Philadelphia is Michael Nutter.

The Joker Card idea is legitimately fantastic! The only thing, as you touched on, is that the media would have to be somehow dissuaded from constantly harassing the teams about when they plan to use their remaining cards.

Yet another most enjoyable of podcasts.
Also, Jocke, on a sidenote: have you picked up the Titan materia

Yes, many times over. I think Ramuh is my fav, though.
On the topic of the podcast, I like it towards the end when Enoch sticks it to Jamie by continuing on urging the listeners to contact Jamie about meeting him when he's on the road. Jamie, when you visit Beantown be sure to bring a gun. In sports at least, the Bostonians are crazy. Or so I hear.

Only just heard the podcast, and while the discussion was excellent as always, just a few corrections on the pronunciation of a few names:
Daniel Hooncadeya
Robin Freyns
Also, you actually managed to correctly pronounce Vandoorne, which I thought would be the most difficult of them all

As a native dutch speaker, i confirm Tommy's teacher is correct. Altough it must be said some parts of the netherlands do pronounce it as 'ai', but Frijns is from Maastricht, where it is pronounced correctly.
I don't know what i want and i want it now!
