I can't seem to find any record of him being signed by anyone - therefore, Arnold Motorsports would like to offer Boris Said $100,000 to do all the road course races in the #50.

Jeff Green accepts the #91. Mike Skinner accepts the #59. Boris Said accepts the RCR Shootout offer and requests the #30 as long as Arnold don't mind letting him race for a different team.
Michel Jourdain and Tony Longhurst both accept their offers for their home rounds.

4 Tier 4 chassis would cost you $4,900,000 in total then $2,000,000 for your four engines so you'd have nearly $2,000,000 left. I forgot to mention that you are allowed to go into debt as long as you make that money back by the end of the season. Also I'd recommend having at least one spare car handy.

Thanks for the figures, after some maths, I have come to the conclusion that Hendrick can afford 5 times tier 3 chassis with the engine cost as well.

I'd also like to point out that the price for tier 3 that I quoted there is a typo, its meant to read $4,000,000 not $4,050,000. Remember you can also make more cars available to customers at a price you set. So you can potentially make a small profit from building extra cars and selling them.

Team Penske will develop a Tier 1 chassis focusing on Aero. We will then build 5 of them, with 5 engines to go along with them. This should cost us a total of $9.75 million.

Re: NASCAR 2004 - Chassis Development
Chassis and Engines
RCR:
Develop tier 1 chassis ($5,000,000), focus on Aero.
Build five tier 1 chassis for themselves ($2,500,000)
Build five engines for themselves ($2,250,000)
Build two engines and sell to PPI ($0)
Build two tier 1 chassis and sell to PPI ($0)
Build three tier 1 chassis/engine combos to sell to other teams ($2,850,000)
Total cost of everything - $12,600,000
Sold two chassis/engines to Morgan-McClure (-$2,250,000)
Total cost now - $10,350,000 (1 chassis to sell)
RCR have built ten cars:
4 mains for themselves
1 spare for themselves
2 for PPI, 1 main and one spare
2 for Morgan-McClure, 1 main and one spare
1 for another team
PPI:
Buy two chassis from RCR ($1,000,000)
Buy two engines from RCR ($900,000)
Total cost - $1,900,000
So PPI have a main and a spare.
Boris Said will drive the #30 in the Bud Shootout if Arnold are ok with it.
Samster - do Menard, Jourdain, Fellows, and Longhurst bring any sponsorship dollars?

Re: NASCAR 2004 - Chassis Development
In terms of chassis development, Gibbs will conduct the following operations:
Design a tier 1 chassis with a focus on both aero and chassis: $5 million
Build a total of 8 Gibbs cars to be shared across Gibbs and BAM Racing: $4 million
Sell two of these cars to BAM Racing at cost: $1 million from BAM to Gibbs
Build six engines for Gibbs: $2.7 million
Buy two engines for BAM Racing from Gibbs: $900k
TOTAL: Gibbs: $10.7 million; BAM: $1.9 million
EDIT: Whatever happened to the $1 mill from Old Spice for signing Stewart?

As a semi-works team, MM are obliged to build their own cars but they can purchase Childress engines.
Can we simply drop our semi-works status then?
Otherwise, we will buy one Childress engine and design and build one Tier 2 chassis.
I guess you could but you'll have to pay that money back.

Victory in Jesus Racing will purchase a car, but will decide after further examination as to whose car we'll purchase.
Which tier is that?
This is what happens when you are confused and in a rush to edit something. I'm fine now

That tier will be 2 for Wood Brothers Racing. I don't think that puts us in debt.

Sure, we'll just drop our works status then.

Are we allowed to temporarily go into debt? If I can...
Arnold wants to purchase the Gibbs chassis/engine combo for $1M. If Phoenix ends up with the remaining Gibbs cars, we'll go for the Roush-Yates combo at $1.1M instead.
