Personally, I'm not particularly bothered by it... but I know plenty of people who are. It was more the fact that I had already asked him to stop multiple times, and that he continued to do it that irked me.
It seems there's some battles I've missed...
Also, "thehemogoblin" are you named after the band or the DC Comics character, or some other thing entirely? Either way, we are "similar - time -zone" pals

I took my internet name from a really interesting thing that happened to me during high school.
And you're only two hours away... which is closer than damn near everyone here.
Now, all we need to do is get an F1 Race at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course...

Portland International Raceway's better But then again like most people I would rate Road America over both of them. Speaking of Road America is it still used by any championships of note?

The only "classic" US / Canada sports car tracks that I've experienced are: Driving 20 laps - Laguna Seca 3 laps - Riverside (amazing track) 5 laps - Mid Ohio
Seeing some form of race: Grand -Am / GT3 type deal at Road Atlanta
I would dearly love to see something cool and fast in the rain at Watkins Glen, and Mosport , but am not sure what and how much it would cost

I wholly agree that PIR is better... and it's only two hours away from where I'm at.

Mid-Ohio really only had that stretch exiting the Keyhole down the start (but not finish) straight, into that right, left, right section that went up and over a small rise.
Nissanymania! Friday has never been the same since.

Yeah, well, I said it based on his proximity to it.

I envy you my friend. What's it's like going down the corkscrew in what I presume is a mid to late 60s Chevy?
The car goes light, its pretty scary. I managed to straighten out between the two turns without binning, but it was still so wierd feeling grip disappear. The scariest part was a turn just before the end where I could see that the retaining wall was concrete. I definitely slowed down there... It was this formula ford type of car, but a small 4-cylinder engine, on a test for a team based in Palmdale, California. I was not fast enough to make the team Maybe next year...pay driver?

Turn 10, the right hander before the pit entry?

I think it was 10 - it was before pit entry, and a very fast corner. It was there, as well as at Turns 9 and 4 that I lost the most time (I was about 3 seconds off). They said if they have more spots for next year I could try again since I was okay (i.e. I didn't bin it, and I didn't destroy the tires or spin out during the test ). I might try to see if there's a racing school that's cheap, or if any karting buddy knows the course well to see if I can improve my time.
