The Onion wrote:Speedworld to return with new sponsorship According to a official team press release, Speedworld Team will return to the renamed AutoReject 3.5 series today. The team has signed on battery company Dynavolt to sponsor them for the season, and Janne Kagsrtom will once again take on the driving duties. The teams main owner, Austrian millionaire Alex Konigg, has also announced that the team will move into a new factory in Dunsfold, UK, near the Top Gear test track. Konigg said today that "the whole team is looking forward to 2017, we put a lot of effort into making sure everything was prepared for the year, and we hope and think that this effort will pay off". They have also announced a long term plan to expand to two cars, although it is understood it isn't a priority at this stage.
So I will throw my hat into the ring if there is spare entries.

Marchesi signs for Jones Racing for 2017 Following numerous reports that Marchesi was linked to driving for Jones Racing in the 2017 AR3.5 season, Marchesi himself announced that he was driving for the team. "I am very happy that Jones wants to have me drive for them this season," said Alessandro in a phone interview. "I think that Jones Racing has the opportunity to rebuild my career, which has been on the rocks since that silly incident with the marshal in the F2RWRS. It was obvious that the stewards were overly harsh on the punishments, both in that race and during the course of the season. Thankfully, the stewards in both the AR3.5 and the F2RWRS have changed for the better, so thankfully the only thing that will hold me back is all the other drivers trying to win the race."

L'Equipe wrote:Voeckler threatens to withdraw from AR3.5 over irresponsible Marchesi
Voeckler GPE CEO Jeremy-Etienne Voeckler has criticised recent Jones Racing signing Alessandro Marchesi, following comments made by the Italian driver when announcing the deal to the press.
Marchesi branded an incident where he hit a marshal in F2RWRS, for which he recieved a season ban, as "silly", and criticised race stewards for being "overly harsh" with the punishment doled out to him.
"Marchesi is a disgrace to motor racing and should quit immediately," said an enraged Voeckler. "He caused a marshal life threatning injuries by using his car as a weapon, and he writes off a ban for that as being harsh? That it was a silly incident?"
"He has shown a complete disregard for anyone involved in motor racing bar himself. He almost killed a marshal following a deliberate act of malice, and says any punishment is silly? Such a gross lack of accountability shows he is not fit to drive a racing car. He is a danger to anyone on or even near a racing circuit. He must not be allowed to race."
As a result of the comments, Voeckler has threatened to withdraw his DScity Voeckler team from AutoReject 3.5 altogether, based on safety grounds.
"I can't put my team personnel, especially my drivers, at risk, by sending them to the same racetrack as Alessandro Marchesi. Voeckler GPE will not attend any races this reckless and irresponsible driver is allowed to participate in."

RejectSport wrote:Gilbert: Marchesi is a fool After it had come to pass that Alessandro Marchesi had signed for Jones in AR 3.5, it was immediately apparent that when the contract was signed that both Sammy Jones and Marchesi had stepped on numerous other people's toes to get the deal done. The newly signed contract comes on the heels of Marchesi taking the victory at the Nobushige Fukuda Memorial Trophy for Sienar Race Systems and being offered a contract on the spot by the American Team. Another very public contract offer came from Racing Team Solvalou who wanted the Italian to lead the Turin-based squad in their 2017 attack. When Marchesi's Agent all but guaranteed the deal, they turned their back on the deal to join Jones at the last second.
"Marchesi is a fool for taking this deal." RTS Team Principal Marco Gilbert told a RejectSport reporter earlier today, "...does he (Marchesi) even realise the situation the Jones Junior team is in? They are in absolute disarray after Hawkin got refused the deal at Revolution and now Allesandro is going to become a victim of Sammy Jones's incompetence. I mean, I have never heard of a Italian driver who refused to drive for us, it is a absolute farce and he's ruined his reputation in the Italian Auto Racing Community. " The move by Marchesi leaves potentially more than the two publicly known teams out of a driver, as it was announced by Marchesi's agent that there were "multiple" contracts on the table.
Autosport wrote:Jones Responds to Marchesi Backlash
Sammy Jones has branded fellow members of the paddock as "petulant idiots" after a backlash emerged following the signing of Alessandro Marchesi to Jones' AR3.5 team for 2017. Jeremy-Etienne Voeckler has threatened to withdraw his team over the signing, and Marco Gilbert has claimed he had a contract with the Italian prior to Jones securing his services. On both matters, Jones had this to say,
"Voeckler is a petulant idiot if he think I'm going to back down on who I sign for my racing teams. How does he think this championship works? Everyone submits their line-ups to Mr Voeckler, he either approves them or not and then it's "yes Jeremy, no Jeremy, three bags f***ing full Jeremy"?! Christ, Marchesi can say what he wants about his career prior to now. That is of no business to me. At the end of the day, he has signed a contract with myself and National Petroleum and will race for my team in 2017. If Voeckler doesn't feel safe then perhaps he should go back to filing his nails and wiping his arse with old Franc banknotes!
"And as for Gilbert, he's just a desperate no-hoper running a team no-one's ever heard of. So he had a chance to sign a top-line Italian driver, blew it big time and is now sore that I've moved Hawkin to F2RWRS and pinched the big cheese from under his nose. Get a grip son. And whilst you're at it, I suggest you check over the drivers I have contracted to my teams. There is no disarray, everything is in order, Hawkin is happier than he's ever been and the Revolution offer was just that, an offer. There was no "deal", the offer was considered, rejected and everyone moves on. Except Gilbert."
James James Davies wrote:I always thought Sammy Jones was a dumbass, but this just confirms it. Marchesi is as retarded and psychotic as Robert Anderson, with all the talent to boot. I'd hire Daniel bathplugging Moreno over his liability ass in a second. Nobody with any sense should be giving someone who has such a clear and utter failing to comprehend how their lack of talent almost killed someone as much as a bicycle to drive, let alone something one step down from an F1RWRS car.

Having found out that the F2RWRS races were not filmed...
Marchesi criticizes Vockeler owners, critics After Marchesi signed for Jones Racing in AR3.5, many people have come out to criticize their decision to sign him, most notably J.E. Voeckler, who threatened to pull out his team in response to his signing.
"It's typical for Voeckler," said Marchesi. "When the going gets tough, they get up and leave. They stop at nothing to get their own way. They're just afraid that they have less of a chance to win the drivers championship in the series. If they really want to leave the series, they'd better do so."
Marchesi, though, does not have plans to talk about rivalries in the series any further. "Right now my next plan is to train for the next race, and to prove my critics wrong."

It was run live by Wizzie. He literally watched Marchesi run the marshal over. It happened. Just because you don't have a video clip in front of you showing it, doesn't mean it isn't so.
L'Equipe wrote:Voeckler "baffled" by attitude of Marchesi, Jones
In the ongoing driving standards saga, DSCity Voeckler team CEO Jeremy Etienne Voeckler fielding a repsone to criticisms of being too soft, following harsh replies to his initial comments by both Alessandro Marchesi and Sammy Jones.
"I have to say, Marchesi and Jones are clearly a perfect fit for each other," he said. "They are both incredibly callous with no regard for the rest of the world."
"I'm baffled by their behaviour, to say the least. How Sammy Jones can openly endorse attempted manslaughter, I can't even begin to understand."
"What also baffles me is the comments by Marchesi - once again, they simply don't make any sense. I can only assume he is on drugs, and that is affecting his behaviour, becauase I haven't heard anything sensible come out of his mouth during his entire career."
"When has Voeckler quit? Never. This would be unprecedented. We belieive in staying the course, where doing so doesn't put lives in unnecessary risk. In motor racing in general, there is always that risk, certainly. But the risk should be minimised wherever possible.
"Almost all the drivers understand that and drive accordingly - fast and firm, but fair. Marchesi is none of those things. He is a liability to everyone on the track. He puts people in danger with his reckless driving."
"Everyone deserves a second chance, if they ask for it. Marchesi is not. He almost kills a marshal, and instead of repenting, he says he will continue with the same attitude. That for me shows he shouldn't be anywhere near a motor vehicle of any kind."

Autosport wrote:Jones livid with "slanderous" Voeckler
Sammy Jones has furiously shot back at Jeremy Etienne Voeckler who labelled the former F1 and F1RWRS driver as "openly endorsing attempted manslaughter".
In an escalating war of words that has resulted after Jones hired Alessandro Marchesi to partner Marko Jantscher in the AR3.5 series for 2017, Jones has snapped at Voeckler's latest response.
"Who the f*** does this Voeckler think he is? Throwing his money around, buying IBR, and now clearly feels important enough to start casually accusing other members of the paddock of endorsing serious criminal offences. It's absolutely f***ing disgusting. I never thought I'd see a repeat of the crazy events at the F1RWRS British GP in 2012, but here we are. I've been accused of attempted murder by Phoenix McAllister, and now for apparently endorsing attempted manslaughter by this idiot Voeckler. What next? Cocaine in the f***ing race trucks? To go around saying things like that is nothing but slanderous. I have no control over a driver's earlier career, what they do is up to them. The fact is he is cleared to drive, and a handful of people are bellyaching for the sake of it. I suggest to these people that if they want to continue with their smear campaign against my perfectly honest race team, then they perhaps do it after they've beaten us on the track."
Marko Jantscher wrote:I can only defend Herr Jones, since he's shown that the team is definitely at an optimal level of performance. We have to ensure that Alessandro feels welcome within the organisation and this will ensure that he delivers optimal results for the team. With both of us having the experience of F2RWRS, I think both of us can perform satisfactorily in this season.

All canon series try to follow the same timeframe, so stuff like FxRWRS, ARx, etc main season stuff all run alongside each other. Given FRENCH hasn't even started yet, which needs to finish before F1RWRS kicks off, the main season is still a couple months away from starting. If I can stay on schedule, TRRS will be over and done with by the end of May. So you should still have plenty of time left.

Entry will be named Euromotor International (the main name for my operations at most of series), with the motor rebadged as Porsche and Montenegrin Darko Kuzmanovic as our only driver, assigned with number 44

And as it turns out, Pycku failed to confirm his entry and has been removed from the provisional entry list. This confirms that Euromotor International are going to run #40 and also have the chance to expand to two cars. By being the next member on the waiting list, Backmarker also has a provisional entry which he must confirm by 19th May 12:00 UTC.

EDIT: Is there any actual advantage to being a one-car team?
As Euromotor expanded to two cars, you're only allowed to run one car for now. The only advantage of running a one-car team is that you technically have more driver changes at your disposal.
All race numbers are now confirmed and can be found in the first post of this topic.

Clockwork Racing is still looking for two drivers. Talent is optional but not exactly preferred. Cars most likely to be bright, obnoxious orange and the drivers will be guaranteed not to have blank white helmets.

Roberto Dinella is very interested in a drive, but a requirement for his signature is that a splash of bright Lampre pink is on both cars in deference to his personal sponsor. He comes with two full seasons of F3RWRS experience, including numerous points finishes, podiums and a victory!

I can offer you Verna Klien, the Austrian who competed in the last three rounds of 2016 for Takagi Racing Enterprises. She qualified for all the finals in those rounds and finished 10th in the Japanese final. She has also had experience in F1RSTC (1 race, finished 15th), F3RWRS (1 race, finished 20th), and was to be entered in Formula Female but if she gets a drive here I will replace her in that.

Briton James Morgan currently competing in the 2016-2017 FRENCH season and would be intrested in competing in AR3.5 for 2017
If it's allowed for someone to do the liveries, Euromotor will race a silver and white-colored car (white main color and silver at the sidepods), with sponorship from Air Europa, HyposVereinbank, Amstel, JugoPetrol AD Kotor and RTP Internacional
