Race 12 Road America (20 laps)
This win feels the best of them all as this is a track I can't really come to grips with it. The carousel is really tricky.
Qualifying results:
1. Kenny Brack
2. Helio Castroneves
3. Michael Andretti
........................
7. Kevin Walters
I have chosen a 1 stop strategy hoping that I will have enough fuel to make it. Well as it turned out the fuel was just enough. Only three cars were on a 1 stop strategy: me, da Matta and Herta. So I gambled on this and I came out on top. There was only one notable incident in the race: Michael Andretti was hit on pit road by Herta and lost it's rear wing.
Race results:
1. Kevin Walters
2. Cristiano da Matta
3. Bryan Herta
4. Kenny Brack
5. Gil de Ferran
This win elevates me to second position in the championship. I still got a mathematical chance to win the championship.
Drivers championship standings with two races to go:
1. Kenny Brack 87 points
2. Kevin Walters 63
3. Patrick Carpentier 61
4. Cristiano da Matta 56
5. Gil de Ferran 50
Teams championship standings with two races to go:
1. Team Rahal 150
2. Team Penske 94
3. Player's Forsythe 86
4. Newman Haas 77
5. Team Green 55
Team Rahal are champions.
My Virtual Racing Career
Re: My Virtual Racing Career
Race 13 Loudon, NH (79 laps)
I really wanted to win on this track. Last season I finished 11th starting from pole. This season I was lacking a little bit of pace.
Qualifying results:
1. Kenny Brack
2. Gil de Ferran
3. Helio Castroneves

7. Kevin Walters
Well the start was great. I was leading by the second lap but I couldn't put a gap between me and the rest of the field. On lap 13 I was passed by Brack and he was off into the distance. I was trying to hold off the two Penske cars. By the time I was about to pit Brack had a 5 second advantage. I pitted on lap 41 while other cars stayed out longer. After the pit stop cycle I was back in 6th. In the next 20 laps I passed three cars but I came upon traffic. In the last ten laps I was fighting through traffic so in the end I finished 3rd. Not a bad result after all. Kenny Brack is champion.

Race 14 Laguna Seca (28 laps)
Qualified 11th. I could still lose second place in the championship so there was something to race for.
Qualifying results:
1. Kenny Brack
2. Gil de Ferran
3. Helio Castroneves

11. Kevin Walters
As Patrick Carpentier was the only driver capable of knocking me down from second place in the championship I was racing against him. He needed to finish 3rd to grab second place in the championship. He qualified 7th. I gained three places at the start so I was running 8th while Carpentier was 6th. I was on a one stop strategy so I was slow. The cars in front disappeared into the distance. On lap 9 I braked too late into the Andretti hairpin (second corner) I was off the track. Cristiano da Matta passed me and as I was coming back I hit Kanaan lost my front wing spun on the track and was hit from behind by Tagliani. Race over. Luckily Carpentier finished 9th. Gil de Ferran did not win the race. Had he won we would've been level on points.
