The legend continues...

Post by Salamander »

Forget Sergey Sirotkin, the saviour of Sauber is at hand, continuing his father's legacy. It is none other than.... ROY NISSANY!

For those of you unable to read the article, there's not really much to it, Roy Nissany will be testing a 2012 Sauber at Valencia next week... but... ROY NISSANY! :D

Nissany? You mean, that Nissany? You mean, son of THAT Chanoch Nissany? Oy-wey.

It's Nissany-mania all over again! Also, Adderly Fong sounds like an F1RWRS name.

And so, the F1 Rejects' sons-of dream team of Roy Nissany and Louis Délétraz comes a step closer... until Timothy Law and Jeremy Law take their rightful place in the same team in the 2030s.

Does Yuji Ide have any kids, incidentally?

So Adderly Fong will become the next Ma Qinghua after all, but Roy Nissany... That's the best news I've heard since Kamui's return. :D

Would this be the shortest time between the first F1 tests of a father and son? IIRC it has only been nine years from when daddy Chanoch made his FP1 appearance in Hungary.

Setting a new record is a fantastic way to keep the legend going!

There was only 5 years between Reg Parnell's last race in 1954 and his son Tim's first drive in 1959.

Yeah, but I was talking about the first F1 drives of both father and son. :P Reg Parnell drove F1 cars even before the class existed.
