F1 alternate points new nascar chase style

New alternate f1 system implementing the nascar scoring system.

It will start in Germany with 16 drivers, end in abu with 4. 4 are eliminated each 3 races.



After Silverstone all points are rest to 100 with an additional 3 points for each win

1. Lewis Hamilton 225
2. Sebastian Vettel 191
3.Daniel Riccardo 187
4. Nico Rosberg 186
5. Felipe massa 181
6. Valtteri Bottas 170
7. Jenson button 164
8. Sergio perez 163

And it's a disaster for Ferrari, poor reliability and generally not being fast dumps both drivers out! An unspectacular Hulkenburg follows them into elimination, while Kmag falls out not being helped by his penalty. The 3 races to decide the final 4 will be russia, America and Brazil. Who will stay and who will go out, Mercedes are garenteed a spot, likely to be joined by Ricciardo.

I have just worked it out and will post either later or tomorrow who is in the final. I would like your predictions please. I'll tell you this now. It is VERY close.

The final 4 were
Hamilton
Rosberg
Bottas
massa


So Hamilton is champion, however if Merc had continued to back his car off then Felipe would have won he title.
Shows the stupidity of the nascar style that Felipe nearly won the championship against the dominant Mercedes.
