I don't mind having a one-race season, actually

Let's do this thing.
20141. Lewis Hamilton - 68 pts2. Daniel Ricciardo - 65 pts3. Nico Rosberg - 61 pts4. Valtteri Bottas - 45 pts
5. Jenson Button - 32 pts
6. Sebastian Vettel - 28 pts
7. Felipe Massa - 21 pts
8. Kevin Magnussen - 17 pts
9. Nico Hulkenberg - 15
10. Kimi Raikkonen - 14 pts
11. Fernando Alonso - 14 pts
12. Sergio Perez - 10 pts
13. Romain Grosjean - 4 pts
14. Daniil Kvyat - 4 pts
15. Jules Bianci - 2 pts
16. Jean-Eric Vergne - 1 pt
Despite the DNF in Belgium Hamilton takes the crown thanks to his two wins (Silverstone and Monza) and one second place (Monaco). However, Daniel Ricciardo comes a close second, just three points behind. Before the title decider in Italy the young Australian was leading the championship by 12 points from Hamilton and Rosberg - both Mercedes drivers had 43 points and exact same finishing record (one win, one 2nd and a retirement).
