Other podcasts of interest to F1 Rejects

Post by dr-baker »

I admit it, the F1 Rejects podcast is not the only podcast I ever listen to (shock horror!). Because there are some others that are almost as good:

For example, this month, Motorsport magazine have a podcast interviewing... Perry McCarthy!!! I have not listened to it yet, but I am sure that it will be brilliant. They have previously had Allan McNish (reject) twice, Emanuele Pirro (has a 5th and a 6th as two best results, so not a reject), Tiff Needell (reject), Murray Walker (pure legend), Karun Chandok (reject), amongst others. Usually a good listen at around 1 hour per month.

And Murray Walker has earlier this year been on Desert Island Discs, which was great to listen to (his first choice was inevitable...).

What other podcasts have rejects or legends like Murray Walker featured on?

I believe Jonathan Legard did a few on the ESPN F1 website last year. I haven't listened to them (primarily because of his dreadful voice :P ) but if anyone is willing to brave them out then here they are.

One thing I learnt from the above-mentioned Perry McCarthy podcast is that in his junior days, he used to be known as Perry McCartwheels...

Reject Seb Bourdais has recently been on the IndyCar-themed More Front Wing podcast (which I discovered through Pippa Mann's Facebook fan page), while, for some reason (!), Susie Wolff was on BBC R5Live's Chequered Flag British GP Preview show...

Does anybody else listen to the "For Formula 1's Sake" (FF1S) podcast? I am sure in their recent podcast, they suggested Rio Haryanto was better than Pascal Wehrlein! (Yes, they give time to the back of the grid!).
