Re: ANUS 2019 (Previously SANDWICH). Preparation & team sign
Here we go then. Lots of empty seats to fill. Step right up!
Josh Carlisle (GBR) is available to hire. He finished fifth in the F2RWRS Pacific Rim Cup in 2017, winning a race. He's also got plenty of experience in Japan, having done both FRENCH and SANDWICH, and is a veteran of similar classes AR3.5 and F2.
Roberto Dinella (ITA) is also available, and brings significant Lampre sponsorship with him. After the demise of IPC, ANUS presents the perfect opportunity for the experienced Italian to return to single seaters where he's most comfortable.
Alexey Pchelintsev (KAZ) has been ripping it up in F5000 in 2018 with regular points, podiums and a race win and is on the comeback trail. Having become accustomed to living in Australia for the past two years, the hop over to Japan doesn't worry him in the slightest and his sponsor Kazatomprom is ready to bankroll a Japanese adventure.
Connor O'Heagan (IRE) has been Blokkmonsta's ARWS tester for the past year, and is looking to continue with the team. In the event that he remains a test/reserve driver (likely), he'd like to keep his race skills sharp by driving in ANUS. He is backed by the Shannon Group.
Chuck Barrett (USA) was unceremoniously dumped by RonDen's AR3.5 team halfway through 2018 because attempting to promote a young driver with just a single year in AR2.0 was apparently a sensible idea. Since then Chuck has been re-grouping and is refocused and ready for the 2019 season. ANUS presents the perfect opportunity for him to get his career back on track and he'd love the chance to show RonDen what utter imbeciles they are for not having faith in him.

The legendary Kazuki Fushida would like to drive in this series. Starting his career in Japanese Formula 2, he later became a Honda factory driver and competed in F1 for Coloni and Williams, even dragging the Coloni into the points once. After his Formula One career, he competed in CART and IndyCar. In 2017, he won the Motegi Oval race of SANDWICH.

Since there's a shortage of Asian drivers, I'll pass on this and let you do what you want with her.
In her place, Quentin Reatherson will occupy the seat alongside Kazama.

Something perhaps worth considering - if Nissan Motorsports doesn't get an entry, then Hagane Shizuka will be available to hire by Nissan powered teams.

Would he count as Asian?
Yes, he does count as Asian
Ok, then we'll make an offer to Pchelintsev!
Sorry dude, he's already been snapped up by V8fan12 for his team.
Anyone still looking for drivers, I still have Roberto Dinella (go on, hire him!), Connor O'Heagan and Chuck Barrett available.

We really do need a thread explaining stuff like this for newer users...
There are two different ways:
1. For real-life drivers, you just put their name down and an RNG will be run determining whether you or other bidders will get them. However, as you probably know already, real-life drivers are not allowed in this particular series, so this is really just for future reference.
2a. For fictional drivers, again, you put their name down, preferably with "pending confirmation from DEC user" or something similar just to clarify to others that the signing hasn't been agreed yet (I once annoyed Salamander by not doing this!). Then you just wait for the driver's owner to confirm! Either that or you can send a PM to the owner just to remind them of your interest.
2b. Alternate fictional driver option: Just make one up for yourself! If you take this option, make sure, in the case of this specific series, that the driver is Japanese.
I do hope this helps!

I prefer to go fishing in advance, speaking directly to the DEC holders via message to get their attention. When you send a PM on the forum, they get a big blue notification bar at the top of the page, one which is pretty impossible to miss. If you want to chase a specific driver, rather than just wait and see who may or may not be available, that's the way to do it.
For example, Dan Greenlaw is my driver now in ARWS because a few seasons ago I went and chased up his then-owner when he was winning F3RWRS. I got his contract because I was the first to pursue him...and I accepted a couple of conditions he had.
Think of it almost as a completely capitalistic free market. People are free to make whatever deals they with with whomever they wish, so long as they don't contravene series regulations (don't worry, there aren't many of these, the only thing that's usually banned is deals that involved the transfer of in-series currency from one team to another).

I think also we should have a simplier way to see who controls what driver and whether or not they are available it can be a bit confusing i know we have a thread that list all drivers but how often does that get updated and even then its multiple pages long.
