2016 Singapore GP: IIDOTR
Who beat the odds today more than any other? 10pts for the top pick, 6pts for second best. Have at it.

1. Daniel Ricciardo: Definitely man of the race. Gutted that he didn't win it.
2. Kevin Magnussen: Scored points in that awful car.

1. Kevin Magnussen - So, Renault, are you going to keep his contract in the air? He got you a point in that banana colored shitbox.
2. Daniil Kvyat - Please, oh please let this be a sign of a comeback. I don't want to see this guy confined to the black hole of dwindling F1 careers known as Formula E or DTM.

1- Magnussen- just when the pendulum was swinging towards Palmer for the second Renault seat K-mag comes back and gets a point in that awful car.
2- Kvyat- may be too little too late but its still points on the board the first since britain.

Re: 2016 Singapore GP: IIDOTR
1. Magnussen: Just as Renault seemed to doubt his ability, he scores points in an cumbersome Banana Boat on a tight street circuit!
2. Kvyat: He appears to have regained some form and his defence from Verstappen was brilliant and very fun to watch. He now seems to be ignoring any Red Bull attempts to drag him down (That team order seemed to be a veiled "Let Max Through") and has probably put himself back on the radar for Renault/Williams
HM:
The Race Itself- far more exciting than Germany/Italy
Ricciardo - nearly won the thing through his performance in the last few laps
Alonso - solid points again
Raikkonen- great overtakes and good defence from Hamilton until Ferrari messed his race up
Vettel: Last to 5th through on track action. Good Job.

2. Daniil Kvyat - there was a smile on his face! He was challenging, he was fighting, he got some points! A good news story about Daniil, for once.

1 - Kvyat - "Poshel na khuy Verstappen!"
2 - Vettel - Can we now agree Vettel has gone Full Alonso and is wasting his career in the red car?

That's exactly what we exclaimed when we were watching that fight!
"Here's your car. Go nuts."

Ten points to Daniil Kvyat - not just for showing some fight to (possibly) prolong his F1 career, but for who it was against. "This is what you get for taking my car, Max..."
Six points to Kevin Magnussen - where did he come from? Either way, dragging the car that's the third-hardest to score points in to a point has to be worth something.
Honourable mention to Daniel Ricciardo - I was hoping to get a season that's not quite such an utter walkover for one team as 1988, and he so nearly managed it, but I suppose we've still got six races to go...

1. Daniil Kvyat - If that was his last stand, then it was a glorious one indeed.
2. Kevin Magnussen - Dragged the yellow submarine kicking and screaming into the points

Re: 2016 Singapore GP: IIDOTR
Finally got to watch more than a few laps of a GP this year (even though I still missed the first 20 laps), so...
1. Kvyat - good to see him stick it to Max.
2. Ricciardo - ok, maybe his charge at the end wasn't that improbable, however it made for a great chase at the end.
HM - Magnussen

According to Autosport All hail Autosport! Magnussen ran that entire race without any water from his drinks bottle! Now that is even more impressive.

Re: 2016 Singapore GP: IIDOTR
1. Kevin Magnussen - Drove that terrible thing into the points when I didn't expect him or Palmer to anymore this season.
2. Nico Rosberg - Maybe not that improbable, but I wasn't expecting him to beat Hamilton by this big a margin, both in qualifying and in the race. This is the first weekend that not only made me hope, but also genuinely think that Nico is championship material this season.

1. Daniil Kvyat: the best race since he returned to Toro Rosso. I was really happy to see him giving hard time to Verstappen.
2. Sebastian Vettel: 5th after starting 22nd is a major achievement in Marina Bay. His regret for what the race could have been must be huge.
