It's the Lancia Beta. I'll say Hans Heyer at the old Hockenheim in 1980?

This was spot on, 4/4, but apparently I didn't play the game correctly, so we have to track back and hand out points for whoever mentioned each aspect correctly first.
Driver - The first person to mention Carlo Facetti was Normal32, so 1pt there.
Year - The first person to mention 1981 was Normal32, so another point.
Track - The first person to mention Daytona was Normal32, so a third point.
Car - The first person to mention Lancia Beta Montecarlo (an important distinction) was novitopoli, so a point there.
So, with three points of the four, Normal32 wins this round.

Yes and yes. And now the tiebreaker:
Who drove this specific TS19 for the most races in 1976?

these are so hard ! But if its not a 166, then maybe its a 212 at Mille Miglia in 1952...no idea who might drive it .
I started supporting Emmo in 1976 (3 points )....missed 75, 74, 73, 72...

Re: Grand Prix Rejects 2016-17 Off-season Quiz: Picture Edit
The time is up and... I'm also stumped by this one. My initial guess was, like Tommy, the 166S. After some searching I then settled on what happened to also be the next guessed answer, the 212. A more thorough search has led me to the conclusion that it must be the 250MM.
I thought it likely that the course/event wasn't the Mille Miglia because there's only one person in the car. The building in the background of the image didn't look very Sicilian to me, which ruled out the Targa Florio. So where else? I thought maybe a hillclimb or something in Germany, but I wouldn't know where to begin on that front.
I then started looking up results on Racing Sports Cars, trying along the way to think up a driver; Hermann Lang, Hans Ruesch (not an F1 driver, but he's one of those pre-war Grand Prix names that I sometimes think might have done) etc. It was when I had skimmed the results as far as the 1953 Portuguese Grand Prix that I got a hunch, a hunch which I believe to be correct: Casimiro de Oliveira, who I believe owned a Ferrari, if not a 250MM. So I looked Casimiro up on Google Images, with "Ferrari" as a term as well, and there was the image.
So, the answer is:
Year: 1953
Circuit: Merano (an 18km monstrosity in northern Italy that hosted the Supercortemaggiore at this time)
Car: Ferrari 250MM
Driver: Casimiro de Oliveira
Even if this turns out wrong, I still have to post the next image anyway.

I'll take a stab at Kunimitsu Takahashi, in a 125cc Honda in, let's say, 1961. I'll take a punt at Hockenheim for the track.

Rider is correct; manufacturer, but not class, is correct (class is acceptable if nobody can get the model); year is close, but no cigar; track is incorrect.

The year is now correct, but the bike and circuit are not.
Now that the class is becoming increasingly obvious, I will now only accept the model.
