Alt-1957: Post-season auction!
Re: Alt-1957: EVERYONE NEEDED!
For 1958, I plan to run the British Racing Partnership; we'll be running British drivers in most if not all of the European rounds, and will definitely be making a cheeky bid for Stirling Moss based on his family connections to our team.
I also plan to do a couple of budgetless privateers; Scuderia Arzani-Volpani for the Italian Grand Prix, maybe an Aussie and American entry as well.
And I may briefly reprise H.A.R.T. for the British Grand Prix as well, but budgetless. I've not decided yet.
As for Volga, it was a symbol of the flaws of the Soviet approach to making things, but not an especially satisfying one to run in the end - I crossed the line a little with just how mediocre I made them. Their assets can be added to the USSR stash that Wizzie has nominal possession of.

I have no plans on reviving Cooper, so if anyone else wants to start with them with a clean slate, you got my permission. I'm not sure how the ownership rights are anymore. Then again, that was only the case of one specific model.
As far as I know, it's 33% for Maserati and 66% for Lotus.

Since I'm now without money, Ecurie Maghreb will probably fold unless there is a last-minute influx of funds.

Re: Alt-1957: EVERYONE NEEDED!
As it seems, there isn't that much money left in the bank. Plus, the Lancias are extremely old and woefully slow - it's time for them to bow out of Formula 1, and for Scuderia Adriatica aswell, at least in a full-time commitment. The name may come back and, probably, enter the Italian GP as a privateer, but nothing more.
On the other hand, I'd kinda like to (mis)manage another team - suggestions are welcome.

There is, of course, post-season prize money still to come.

MSG Köthen will continue into 1958, possibly with a new O.S.C.A. package depending on their plans. Hopefully, our close ties with the italian communist party will once again help us to strike a deal.
We will bid for Heinz Melkus when it's time to, his engineering and driving skills will make us progress.
This team isn't the most exciting one, but it had some very respectable results in 56 and 57. Fitzau won his heat at Rostock in 1956, and Melkus came close to scoring points in 1957. Hoping for 1958 to be even better for us !
