In NASCAR, the playoffs run for the final ten races, which is roughly a third of the Championship season. For the Formula One playoffs, we will have them run for the final seven races, which is a third of the Formula One season. It has four parts: the Round of Sixteen lasts two rounds, after which the bottom four drivers are eliminated. The same thing happens after the Round of Twelve and the Round of Eight, which leaves The Final Four to do battle for the Championship title in the final race of the season at Abu Dhabi.
