Who said there was a deadline? I'm relaxed...

But the masses will revolt!

So long as it is released before China, because "The Bah-stra-lasian-ese podcast" isn't a very catchy title. ;)

Edit: And for those that are interested, I believe the podcast is seriously close to complete now! 8-)

To be honest, it would sound more like a Pacific Island language then a podcast title if it got to that stage.
Nevertheless, I'm interested to hear what the final results are, even if it is a little rough around the edges (well, for a first attempt, it might lack the polish that Jamie and Enoch have had the time to perfect, but I'm sure that there will be plenty of enthusiasm to carry things through).

I have as much charisma and personality as Lewis Hamilton. No wonder I got replaced mid-podcast by TimmyB

I lacked so much charisma that I was little more than a silhouette in the podcast.

Granted, laziness also played a part.

Unintentional!

However kostas, you'd have a better chance of sounding like David Coulthard than Lewis Hamilton. Not just the accent, but the dry and occasssionally dirty humour.

Kostas22 can give the best answer here but the last pieces were edited in the last 24 hours so we're getting pretty close to release time.

It's the former. Its a bloody mess, bits strewn all over the internet and my computer(s). Hopefully today I can find everything and stick it back together (bar one part which needs re-recorded )

Positive news...the Podcast looks like it may well be released on Saturday morning, Australian time!

Whether it will have been any good however, well, that's a whole other thing... :?

Or not :(

As I was just finishing off the last segment that needed editing...the program I was using crashed and corrupted all my work
This means I'll need to re-record some of it, and also re-edit more of it.

Talk about bad timing.

Edit: False alarm...Thank HWNSNBM for automatic back-ups!!!!!

More delays I'm afraid.

My house just suffered a powercut (I'm writing this from my laptop which is about to run out of battery) so it'll be well into tomorrow before I'm finished :|

Just as well I found that old 3G Modem kicking about. :geek:

I dont know if any of you have had to chew an anvil in the past, but thats what you'll have to do if you do spot any minor flaws in editing, because its the only thing that comes close to what Kostas has had to put himself through (even though its a bit "me" heavy, Kostas is the one that made this possible).

Again thanks to Shinji, TimmyB and Wizzie for providing valuable backup.

If we do unearth any new listeners tuning in for this version of the podcast, point them in the direction of this thread, we arent pro in any way, shape or form.

But we certainly wont do it again, unless we get paid...

...handsomely.

We had some challenges Jamie and Enoch did not, in our defense.

For example a powercut halting all progress for 12 hours.

But yeah, my generaly lethargy pretty much screwed the thing.
