If I ever won the EuroMillions lottery (in the weeks when it gets to something stupid like £100,000,000) then I would really want to set up an F1 Reject car museum. I really would...

As would I. It's called the underwater basement of my dream house.
Yes, it would be like a Sea-Life Centre for cars. Stop looking at me funny like that.

Will you be a tour guide at this reject car sea-life centre? If so, wear a kilt and give me a discount.

If I conveniently win the lotto at the same time, I say we pool our money together, get a few sponsors, start an F1 team, and I (we) would hire all you sorry bums as miscellaneous bits and pieces of the race team! IMAGINE! All of us as some rag-tag F1 pitcrew!

Now THERE's a Reject-worthy team in the making!

We have to get the SOOPA AGURI! firesuit and seatbelts too, don't we? That's another 500 pounds, at least.

You've forgotten the 17.5% VAT, so it'd be 116.325 pounds. But the fact the car has no engine is a good excuse for us to try to find a Life W12 engine to fit on it (or a Subaru Flat-12)

Re: Who has £99,000?
The Subaru Flat -12 might snap the chassis in half. The darn thing was so heavy
Coloni almost built a millitary tank just to keep the thing in one piece lol

You may be right. The Life W12 will suffice if we manage to find one in good shape

There's your problem. I don't think there was ever a Life W12 in good shape.

Well, then any Life W12. Everything for rejectdom

There was only ever ONE Life W12 made... and I think we know how much in "good shape" it was....

I remember reading that in the Life profile... that they only ever had ONE chassis and ONE engine!

And we've seen the Life running at Goodwood... so, no Life W12 for us.

Are you willing to get your hands dirty? (both in the figurated and literal senses...)
Re: Who has £99,000?
Huh ?

Checked the profile again, this is what it shows:
As 1990 dragged on, Life never had any more than one chassis and two W12 engines.
Re: Who has £99,000?
Oh yes sorry i think i inmagend the Dallara's they looked the same (well the color etc).
The Life was the old FIRST racing car that was unsafe.
Later the life was the Andrea Moda right ?, but they had 2 chassis ? or was that the Osella chassis ? or the coloni ?
Im getting confused now...

Yes, Life Racing Engines bought the FIRST design and modified it a bit to fit the W12 engine and pass FIA scrutiny. But when Life folded, no one bought or took over the project. Andrea Moda was a continuation of Coloni.
Andrea Sassetti bought the assets of Coloni and for the first race of the 1992 season the team appeared with the old Coloni C4 chassis from 1991. When he was asked to pay the US$100.000 in concept of the entry fee for brand new teams, Sassetti argued he bought Coloni and he didn't have to pay the fee. But after his appeal was unsuccesful, he decided that rather than run old machinery, he'd do better looking for another source of chassis. So, he bought the S921 chassis from Simtek, which originally designed it for BMW to enter F1 (but they aborted the project).
After Andrea Moda's exclusion from the championship for bringing the sport into disrepute, a Spanish outfit, Bravo, tried to buy Andrea Moda's assets. Their entry was finally rejected.
The profile states Life never had more than a single chassis available (I guess for every racing weekend). And Osella never had anything to do with Life.
I hope I've helped yoo with this

Re: Who has £99,000?
Yes it do.
But im still thinking about that life, im sure that some other team wanted to enter the f1 with that life Chassis, somewhere in 1991 or 1992.
I know honda had a project in 1992 for entering the formula 1 but those test where made with a home made chassis.
Gonna look for it what i ment with that life chassis...
Edit:
Wasn't it Ekström or Durango ? Ekström had some plans to enter the f1 in the 80's even got car models. The same is for Durango
Edit 2:
Well the W12 engine wasn;t from life but from the AGS 1989
?
Edit 3:
I'm digging in my brain, and i remember that i readed something about Adrian Campos was to add the Andrea Moda's from 1991 (the simtek BMW's) for the 1993 season the team should have been called Bravo??? Can't be the truth right ? (i guess i remeber this what i ment with life)

As far as I know, no one ever (duly) showed interest in Life. Durango and Ekström were projects that appeared before (Ekström, 1986) and after (Durango, 1996) Life.

No - MGN (Moteurs Guy Negré) produced their own version of the W12 from 1988-89 and used the AGS JH22 as a test car. It had a different cylinder configuration than the Life unit. But MGN at least had the sense to can the project when the motor turned out to be a complete donkey...
