That's quite funny actually (I agree there maybe should be a separate forum for ones like the one I'm currently doing so people can avoid them who don't want to read them)!!

Ayrton Senna had a heavy crash the first time he drove a kart, got scared about it, forgot about racing and went on to inherit his father's businesses and successfully ran for President of Brazil.

On principle, Prost becomes a 6-times and Mansell a 2-times WC, respectively. But someone should do that one and see what the results would become.

And what about Schumacher being removed from the history books?

Another one: remove EVERY champion at the same time, before they even win one title.
Go home, Bernie Ecclestone!

The F1 Rules for 1997 meant that only Japanese drivers could take part.... there ya go Shinji.

Don;t get me started on that - I take it you mean just remove all real-time champions from all the results, and see who wins the WDC out of who we're left with? That means Rene Arnoux would be 1983 WDC as he'd only have Prost and Piquet to beat, that's just mad!

Taku for 2004? ;-)

How about, remove every race winner from the result (not after their first win, that just wouldn't work)? I could do it, but only after I finish the medals one (I can't manage more than 2 at a time).

The same thing went through my mind earlier today - not because I don't read them, but because I think it would be better to have like with like.
We should name it after some well-known simulator driver, such as de la Rosa or Badoer

How about the Al Pease Memorial forum (because he never had a hope in hell of being classifed in a race.)

We'd still have 1952 and 1953, which were run by F2 regs, as well as the 1950-1960 Indy 500, under USAC regs
