Tried some liveries myself for my two teams, and I think they are the most amateurish yet! (Also based on GP3 chassis outline!)

Anglo-Manx Racing (only Pippa's car will have the pink - all others who have ever driven/will drive for AMR will have pink replaced with red)

You know I just copied one of TMLW's images and used that as a starter, it's pretty easy to do, I did mine in Paint.NET which is completely free from the interwebs (and legal of course!) :D

After running the first 2 tests in last year's livery, the Equipe de Course Belge revealed the 2012 F1RWRS livery with title sponsors Dexia (note the badly made sponsor names).

Nice...

And Jeremy, I used a livery template from BATracer (for the GP2), and just used paint. If I get bored again, I'll make one for ArrowTech, if you want. (And anyone else)

I'll make ArrowTech's, but one for Pacchia-Coswojuddhartlambo will look awesome. BTW, ArrowTech seat #2 is still open, I can't imagine the team having a one-car entry!

EDIT: ArrowTech's Chassis!

Why shouldn't Anglo-MANX Racing use a bit of red?

Dear organisers of the F1R WRS,

As I am sure you are aware, we at Group Lotus are currently rapidly expanding our motorsports programme, both in single-seaters and GT racing. We have been supporting Takuma Sato in IndyCar where we are soon to be providing both chassis and engine. We are partnering Renault in Formula One this year where we hope to see victory before the year is out. We will be developing a junior programme through our newly-acquired GP2 team and we are currently working on a GT programme.

As part of this expansion, we have seen the progress of your F1 Rejects World Race Series and would like to enter two cars as part of our expanding junior programme to train new engineers and drivers. We do not mind who the drivers are, but would like to see the two drivers compete in the following liveries:

Image
Image

We are aware that we have missed some of your pre-season testing but we do not think that this will hinder us much. After all, of the new F1 teams last year, Virgin were present at most of the pre-season tests, yet came dead-last. Beaten by HRT whose second car did not turn a wheel until Bahraini qualifying! And whose first car only completed a few laps in FP3 at the same event beforehand!

Yours faithfully,

Dany Bahar.

Whatever makes you think that was me? (Not that I have denied it either...) And I don't need three teams. And neither does Lotus need such a large financial commitment to motorsport while launching 6 new models in its road-going car range.

Oh, and there's still a seat available for anyone to join in for ArrowTech Racing. Sponsorship is not required! Just your name and the country your racing licence is under.

Can I join in? The name is Daniel Martins and my racing licence is Portuguese!

O'Lauchlan Motorsport's OLM1 was seen with it's full 2012 livery for the first time today. There were no surprises as far as the UPS based colourscheme and BMW badge were concerned but the fact that the team got a major sponsorship deal with Cadbury alongside with minor deals from Shell and Rolex were surprises.

Yeah, I figured after I replied. I'm not really wanting to enter a third team. I was just having a bit of fun playing with different liveries.

But I think it'll be fun, so Group Lotus can be joined! It will continue to exist for as long as the real life - when that dies, effectiv immediately, so does this one (it'll probably be bought by me to be a B-Team for HRT  )

If no-one else who hasn't been in the F1RWS wants the seats, Damon Cannon's friend Richie White, from Wales would like to step up straight from karting to one of the seats. Richie is a white van man when not racing, and used questionable driving manouvers and tactics akin to Schumacher/Senna and most white van men in order to dominate most of the 2011 Karting World Championship, until he did a Adelaide 1994 move on his nearest challenger which saw him disqualified from the championship. He brings sponsorship from that favourite of white van men, the Auto Trader, which wants to increase readership in order so more cars/vans can be advertised and thus sold.

On the subject of sponsorship, Damon Cannon brings the Cannon brand of real ale to CR Motorsport. Brewed by generations in the West Country, it has recently become popular in the country.

TRT has high hopes for this year

Trueba Racing Team (TRT) has expressed optimism heading into the upcoming season. With both drivers performing quite well in the last test at Phillip Island and Jung getting an impressive 4th at the Donington Park session, both drivers are bullish on their expectations for next year. Second driver Tristan Jung said: "Now that the team has two drivers and firm financial footing for the foreseeable future, we have high hopes!" It is interesting to note the new sponsors on the side of the TRT cars at Phillip Island, with Korean Air and LG logos all over the car. Jung continued saying: "Yeah, we are really hoping for at least a podium, and to compete for points consistently, if possible. I'm quite confident that we will achieve these goals." With a new driver, new sponsors and a new livery, expectations are certainly high. However, F1WRS is a fickle series and results tend to be rather random, especially in qualifying. Whether or not Trueba can deliver remains up in the air, and it is a question that will only be solved at the first race at the Norisring.

Can someone do me a favour and make my livery, please? I have neither the templates nor the ability or time to do them.
It would have to have the following:
-Red and white.
-Red rims.
-Footwork, Super Aguri and Honda sponsorship.

Might have a go at this. Won't be professional or anything, but I'll see what happens. Others are free to try as well.

Thanks. I'm very sorry to have been telling to the Whole Spanish Press you were humiliatingly trounced by a woman in your won team,by the way

It was her team, not mine. (AMR is Pippa's team, MAN is Douglas's...). And is it better or worse that that woman was not just a woman but a sister? After all, she would know better than most all the psycological buttons to push...

Ok... livery change for next year... It needs changing actually. What colours should I use? Brown and Grey? Green and Red (not the main colour)? Green and Blue? Who knows?

How did our top two drivers last year not qualify? For comparison, the other drivers who used Melrose's driver were Krautmeir, Roda and Jung, while the others to use the same driver as Spencer were Pippa Mann, James Davies and White.

I'm thinking of doing a bonus race for those who don't qualify, to give them something to look forward to during the "weekend". Thoughts?

Go for it. Should make things interesting while I laugh at Barii Mori for not qualifying after all the noises he made in the pre-season

By the way, did you do a RubberTex and give your good parts to Krautmeir?

Jeroen Krautmeir wrote:Well, I think there were several factors for my good pace today. Firstly, the crowd was extremely supportive. Secondly, I didn't spend the pre-season tests trying to be quick. Instead, I focussed on getting used to the car, and I think that I was able to get a good setup for the circuit as well. I'm afraid I don't know what happened to Daniel, though, and I'm sorry for him, but I'm sure he'll bounce back next week. Time to get a good quali time!

PS: Can we pleeeease have separate liveries like in CART? Because I have this:

Based on the colours of the old German flag. Also has that Verizon stripe because I like it for some reason.

If Melrose lets you, then fine. I think Group Lotus will run with two liveries should they get a second driver, and for the last few Australian races the HRTs had different liveries. Pippa Mann has pink on her car, but apparently James Davies doesn't. I think you can get away with it!

After turning up to the first race with a plain black car with no sponsor logos, the Minardi team has unveiled their livery for this season.
