This is a one-time drive for now. I will have to wait the confirmation for the next season. At least I have somewhere to go

Minardi have unveiled their car for the Motegi charity race, a former Minardi Team USA Champ Car. The team would like to enter it for the Indy race, but this is subject to approval by the F1RWRS officials.

Re: F1RWRS - A computerised F1Reject series
After much deliberation MRT has decided to enter a second car for Phillipe Nicolas at Motegi. This means there are now only 2 spots left while we have 3 provisional entries which need to confirm their entry if they want a spot in the race.

If it was the normal procedure then Krautmeir would have just qualified and Nicolas wouldn't have qualified at all. I was watching the session on TV in the ward and both cars looked like a real handful. I was genuinely surprised that neither of them found the wall at any point in the session. At this rate we should use the spare O'Lauchlan cars for oval races.

Our car is just a "standard" one with a low drag package, compared to the Indy specials some teams are using, and it's still the first version of the chassis. I'm not racing to win, I'm racing to clock mileage on the car and on the new engines BMW have supplied us, as well as to show our new Camel/Red Bull livery. I think we've performed splendidly, and we've even outqualified a couple of Indy chassis, so I'm looking forward to the race.

Thomas De Bock - 114-127 (14)
Douglas Mann 62-73 (12)
Chris Dagnall - 104-113 (10)
Nathanael Spencer - 1-3 (3)
Well, this was won pretty much on pit strategy. I got fancy and left yellow flags on, so for a few laps after each crash the cars trundled around (albeit in single file) at 50km/h. The MANs, ECBs and O'Lauchlans all ran 2 stop strategies, while the Minardis, HRTs and ArrowTechs ran 4 stoppers. Everyone else opted for a basic three stopper. Admittedly, Shizuka was gone for all money after his second stop on lap 120 when Pacchiarini binned it at turn 2, but was saved by the fact that virtually everyone else pitted, except for O'Lauchlan who stopped for his final time on lap 144. He managed to put almost a lap between himself and Pippa, and despite the heavier fuel load, kept the gap virtually static all race. Cannon met his end when he understeered into the outside wall at turn 4, White, Mori, Respati and Cameron all crashed at turn 2 and Older Jr collected Krautmeir on his way out of the pits. Everyone from Nicolas down was involved in at least one incident, in fact Jung, Davies, Roda and Steele were in two of them. Pratchett, meanwhile, was just plain slow.
But now, for the bit we've all been waiting for:

Sammy Jones wrote:What an incredible race. I feel honoured both as a driver and team owner to have raced at Indianapolis, one of the most famous race circuits in the world. Of course I'm absolutely gutted that neither Chris nor the team as a whole collected their respective championships, but nonetheless we've finished runner-up in both and have the satisfaction of challenging for the titles throughout the season. It's been a very hard, long season and it would have been nice to be rewarded with a championship in only the second year of the team, but despite that I think we can be happy with what we've achieved, particularly in light of the nastiness that tarnished the middle part of the season. Perhaps without my race bans the constructors championship might have been a little different, who can say? All I'll say is that we're delighted to have finished where we have, and we're looking forward now to next season, our first with Marlboro, and the new MJR-201 which will hopefully move us to the next level, challenging for regular wins and a much better shot at the championships. Nothing less will do now after the stellar season we've just had. My thanks go out to Chris for the unbelievable effort he's put in over these past two years for the team, and also to the FRWRS Council and it's executives for running what is arguably the most popular and successful race series in the world right now.

Yes! Yes! Yes! I won! I won! I won!!! I finished fourth, and helped the MAN up to third place! I'm so delighted with this result.
Now basically everyone is asking: "Now where will you go next season?"
To be honest, I don't know. Yet. Pippa has won the title, and she might be ending her career on a high note. But since the two teams will be merging, two seats will be disappearing. I might get an offer to stay on board, and I got an offer from Sunshine Infiniti - I'm optimistic, because I will have a B plan if the Foxdale team plans to be an all-Mann team.
But now, let's just celebrate. Hey, was that Pippa doing a headbutt into the swimming pool back there?
And what is Douglas doing with that big can of beer?
Doesn't matter what he's doing!

Foxdale Auto Racing Team
With both James Davies and Hagane Shizuka keen to be retained in the newly-merged team, for the seat that Pippa Mann, the reigning F1RWRS champion, has not yet made a firm decision about, there will be a shoot-out between these two drivers post-Motegi charity race, alongside any other potentially interested parties. Details to be published forthwith.
Foxdale Auto Racing Team would also like to request of the championship organisers what car numbers Foxdale would race with should Pippa decide to hang up her helmet? Is it considered a continuation of the championship-winning AMR team, or the third-placed MAN team, or a new kid on the block?

Repco and Telstra, two new sponsors for 2013, increase their sponsorship of the car, while Rockstar Energy Drinks scales back. INTRODUCING... F1RWRS 2013 SEASON RULES
Hi all, Before I begin to explain the new system I want to thank TML for his outstanding job on bringing some entertainment in the form of the F1RWRS to the rest of the people here. Thanks man!
Let´s get to the point; from the 2013 season, the F1RWRS comission will encourage the message board users to become TEAM OWNERS rather than DRIVERS, and to engage you people a little more with the series in a way that, the decisions you take will be reflected, somehow, in the simulation. So from now on, you Team Owners will have to work within a budget to make your team work and win. I´ve decided to limit the budgets only on the areas that can be simulated within the game in order to:
a) I don´t go mad by managing a big load of data
b) Keep it simple and fun for everyone
Since this is F1Rejects, the F1RWRS comission has unanimously decided that every team, from now on, can only work with a reject engine and chassis from a given list (which is included below). Each chassis and engine has a price tag and its own characteristics, so you must choose wisely in order to win. Hence the importance on Team Owners rather than Drivers from now on. The chassis and engines have been carefully chosen from the 1985-1998 period, although all of them will have a similar appearance in the game (to those cars of the early 90´s).
Every team will start with the same budget of 1000 CREDITS. These credits can be used to: Buy a chassis and an engine and then, improve reliability, power, drivers performance or drivers regularity.
A given chassis will be provided just to ONE team, if somebody chooses the LIFE L190 chassis, it will only be available to one team. Meanwhile, a given engine will be available to TWO teams at the same time. More advanced chassis and engines will be made available every season, so there´s a continous progress.
If you want to buy a new chassis or engine this can be returned to the manufacturer for half of the price you paid for it. IMPROVEMENTS ARE NOT RETURNABLE. So if you spent 300 on your chassis and then 300 on improvements, you will be refunded 150 Credits. The chassis or engine will be then made available to any other team interested at it´s original price and characteristics. If a chassis or engine hasn´t been used by any team for 3 seasons, it will be out of the market, therefore not available anymore.
Credits can be spent on improvements at the end of any race, but earnt credits will only be available at the end of the season, so you must work with your starting budget during the whole season. Now, how do your team earn more credits? Easy answer; By doing well (or very badly) in races.
Every team will get 200 credits at the end of the season regardless their performance, in terms of TV Revenue.

Chassis//Engine//Drivers deals between Team Owners:
A Team Owner can sell their chassis, engine or driver to another team owner, at any negotiated rate. Chassis/Engine deals may only be done at the end of the season, since every team must use the same Engine and Chassis during a season, but driver deals can be done at any time, either by swapping, or replacing a driver. A driver who´s dropped (not wanted at any period) will be added to a list of drivers looking for a job. This driver will keep its stats (Performance/Consistency) and will be able to be hired by a rate decided by the commision.
Deals between two teams owned by the same player can be done, but there must be a price agreed by the commision.
-------------
--- For the survival of the series, a minimum of 13 teams must enter. 26 drivers will be qualified for each race. 28 Drivers can enter Qualifying, so there will be Two DNQ´s if there´s 14 teams or more. There will be Pre-Qualifying if there´s more than 14 teams in the entry list. However, the new Pre-Qualifying system will qualify the best teams, not drivers, as a result, prequalifying will be passed by the best 3 teams (with 11 teams granted access to the main qualifying), by a combined best time from their drivers.
The 2013 calendar will be published soon. Please ask any doubts you have!! I will revise the text later and add any thing that I may have forgotten.
Templates will be given so you can paint your cars to be seen in game!

Re: F1RWRS - A computerised F1Reject series
Just one thing I want to clear up - if a person doesn't own a team, but has a driver (e.g. Shizuka, Watkinson, Spencer etc.), what happens for them?
By the way, I call the Onyx ORE-2 and the Porsche V12 for HRT.

Re: F1RWRS - A computerised F1Reject series
Will there be a system in the future which means sponsorship becomes involved in the credits equation? (For example I was thinking 150 credits for each major sponsor and 10 for each minor sponsor or something like that so MRT would get 150 credits from the QANTAS Group, 150 from the BBC and 10 each from Shell, BHP, RayBan, Expro, DHL and Commerzbank. These amounts can be changed from race to race depending on the performance of the team but that might take a bit of work.)
Also, can driver characteristic points be transferred from one characteristic to another before the beginning of the season?
Also here's several MRT news item:

Autosport wrote:MELROSE TO RETIRE FROM F1RWRS
The F1RWRS was left in shock today as 3 time Formula One World Champion and 2011 series runner up Daniel Melrose announced his immediate retirement from driving duties in the sport. Phillipe Nicolas has been promoted to a full-time drive for next season as a result.
"The new regulations simply doesn't allow for a team manager to drive the car anymore so I decided to hang up the helmet. However I will still keep my commitments in Formula One" said Daniel Melrose. Rumour has it the real reason Melrose retired was his personal disappointment and self-doubt after a disappointing 2012 season which saw only a few podiums and no victories.

In light of the new regulations MRT has decided to run a car based on the Minardi M197 with the Yamaha OX88 powerplant to be rebadged BMWs. The newly formed Horizon Motorsport team also run by the MRT consortium is going to buy the same combination from MRT at a rate to be set by the commision. However the smart money is on it being 900 credits since the combination costs MRT 850 points to purchase and run.

MOTEGI CHARITY RACE
Qualifying:
The MRTs were handling much better than they were around Indianapolis or Talladega with Nicolas Steele scoring pole in only his second race for the team with Spencer 7th. However not much could be taken out of the performance as the entire grid was covered by under 3 tenths of a second. Kekkonen put in a brilliant performance to qualify second putting teammate Martins to shame in the process while new champion Pippa Mann was in a whole world of trouble in 16th on the grid.
Grid:
1. P. Nicolas (MRT): 25.992
2. J. Kekkonen (ArrowTech) +0.015
3. K. Lon (Kamaha): +0.018
4. A. Watkinson (HRT): +0.022
5. C. Dagnall (Marlboro Jones) +0.030

They can "participate" too in the form of driving (maybe by deciding how to distribute credits given by the team owner?), but I encourage everyone who is just a driver now to become team owner by creating new teams.

I like to join in too (if I can) and can I call the
AGS JH24 - 275 (Just spent a good three hours just finding the sponsors of this team today...)
HART 415T - 625 (Go for broke on a powerful engine)
Which is 1000 credits.
Thank you

I have thought about sponsorship but it would get too complex. Maybe for 2014 sponsorship can be included based on merits achieved, but I prefer to keep it simpler now and just assume sponsorship pays for staff wages, transport and so on.
No, drivers characteristics are definite. So if a driver improves in qualifying, it will be forever better in qualifying; even if it stays in the same team, or is transferred or even if doesn´t have a job.

Can I change my mind? As I decided to go from the AGS JH24 and the Hart Engine now? I read the rules and specs correctly and decided it would be better. That will be 1000 credits so I am now poor.
The name of the team will be FAT Turbo Racing (as it was the best Sponsor (F.A.T. Turbo Express) name I found that graced the AGS car).

You can´t run the same combination since two teams can´t use the same chassis.

Trueba Racing Team would deploy these components, if right:
FORTI FG03 // 6000 // 3 // 9 // 325
FORD HB I // 615 // 1000 // 450
for a total of credits spent: 775; credits left: 225

#2: Giovanni Roda

A spokesman for the Sunshine Infiniti team has told of the anger in the board room as news that the chassis and engine designed for the new season will be worthless as the new rules effectively turn the series into a bunch of customer car deals. Toshiyuki Shiga was so angry that he fumed and steamed his glasses up before gently slamming his fist on the table before apologising to the board. Carlos Ghosn shrugged his shoulders and went off for another bottle of wine. Still we have our eye on the Footwork Chassis as well as the Motori Moderni engine which we hope we can rebadge.
So I will bag the Footwork FA12 chassis for 350 credits and the Motori Moderni Engine 615 for 600 credits.
