May I take Midland if there isn't a waiting list. If there is, may I be placed on it?

Season Review!
Top 10 drivers of 2006 (based on what I expected of them entering pre-season testing and the final results)
10 Rubens Barrichello
So, he didn’t start the season in a race seat, it took an injury to Nico Rosberg for him to find a seat on the grid with the struggling Williams-Cosworth, but his 13 points helped saved Williams then dismal season around into something more bearable to watch. That’s the only reason why he barely squeaked on this list.
9 Pedro De La Rosa
When De La Rosa left McLaren for a race seat with the brand-new Prodrive-Cosworth team, many figured that he has this one final crack at F1 before he retires for good, guess everyone was mistaken, he still has something left in the tank, 3 points for Prodrive’s first year on the grid is not that bad at all!
8 Mark Webber
Guess Aussiegrit still is determined after all. He joined Honda hoping to find some sustained success for once, and he did just that. 26 points and outscoring his teammate Klien helps him out as well.
7 Michael Schumacher
Now, many people are asking why the 7-time WDC is down this low on this list somehow? Sure, he still has good skills left in him with 79 points, but getting outslugged by new teammate Montoya doesn’t help him! And add the fact that he wants #1 status still is questionable at best.
6 Jacques Villeneuve
Somehow the 1997 WDC still has it, but time is already ran out for him to win another WDC. Nevertheless, he has outperformed David Coulthard this bad that red bull said that DC is already on the hot seat and could lose his job!
5 Ralf Schumacher
Scoring all of your team’s points is one thing, but scoring 57 of them is another. But R. Schumacher managed to put Toyota on the podium more than once this season through gritty pace.
4 Kimi Raikkonen
I ultimately decided that Kimi belonged to #4 on this list, just because McLaren didn’t upgrade their car all season long! Despite no upgrades, he came oh so close to claiming his first WDC.
3 Jarno Trulli
Who had thought that Midland-Mercedes would be a serious threat to the establishment? When Trulli left Renault to the ex-Jordan team, many would had said, “What are you taking?” But now, he looks like a genius for the time being! The bigger question remains, is this a one-season wonder or is this the real deal?
2 Juan Pablo Montoya
Outperforming M. Schumacher is one amazing feat in itself, but not winning a single race for Ferrari on their way to reclaim the team’s title was the reason why Montoya ended up only 2nd on this list.
1 Fernando Alonso
Alonso successfully defended his WDC title, through consistency and a little luck at the final race of the season. It also helps that Renault is committed to winning more titles for him as evident in his 7 race wins this season tying Kimi for the most on the grid.
Top 5 teams (same criteria as the above list!)
5 Prodrive-Cosworth
The 2nd biggest surprise of the season was the gritty Performances by this brand-new team. Yes, they only scored 3 points, but De La Rosa outperformed both Toro Rosso-BMW’s regularly during qualifying which was pretty significant for them moving forward. Now the next step is addressing reliability and improving their engine for 2007, but the future looks bright for them!
4 McLaren-Mercedes
The attempt at no upgrades didn’t exactly go to plan for them, with Kimi missing out on his first WDC by 3 points, and missing 2nd at the team’s title by 1 point. At least they are favored to still have Mercedes power for next season.
3 Midland-Mercedes
Sucks that Jarno Trulli failed to win the title by 3 points! To make matters worse, Ataxia quit the series on his own terms and as a winner for the biggest surprise of this season. The good news is that they scored Free Ferrari engines for 2007 by letting Gene race the second-half of 2006. Now, can they follow it up under a new manager?
2 Ferrari
Yes, no race wins sucks for the TIfosi, but winning the Team’s title does help them in the short-term, but then again M. Schumacher is getting older and JPM was a pleasant achiever of a signing this season, but will they keep both drivers or not?
1 Renault
This was tough, but ultimately in the end, Renault’s decision to develop Vettel into a #2 driver to begin with wasn’t a wise decision in the immediate term but look out for this team a couple years down the road, especially if they keep Alonso happy
ROTY: (could be any driver or team that failed expectations in a massive way!)
3rd: Yuji Ide
Yes, he only participated in the first three races of this season, but then again he was so off the qualifying pace anyway that he deserves to be on this list in some capacity.
2nd: Toro Rosso-BMW
Well, after Toro Rosso scored the customer BMW engine for 2006 in a surprise, Franz Tost was hoping for a decent improvement from the ex-Minardi team, instead, many people are now saying that they are falling even further back! Davidson failed big time, and Liuzzi suddenly didn’t look as promising compared to 2005.
1st: Giorgio Mondini
This one takes the cake! In a car that Ralf Schumacher, among all people managed to score his fair share of podium finishes in. Mondini, however, was way over matched versus anyone on the grid minus the Super Aguri-Honda’s and Carlin-Cosworth’s. And the decision to keep him for the entire 2006 season, instead of sacking him for Tiago Montiero for the final third of the season, was even more rejectful!

And a couple last things to address:

For Pi314159, yes, if Carlin were to be bought out by Spyker, then they must run the Spyker engine with it.

And for Mrfakeboullier, since McLaren and Toro Rosso's current owners still haven't responded yet for some reason, and there's two people on the waiting list right now. I have decided to give Normal32 control of McLaren for 2007, and Andrew control of Toro Rosso for next season. Which means you can take control of Midland right away!

Question is now: What engines will be available for ProDrive to get?

That question will be answered once I post the 2007 thread on here. But, as I type this I am still figuring out the Driver list and their base values. The engine base values and chassis tiers are done already. So, it's a matter of time until I finish all of that!
