We can hire Colin Kolles for that.

On Monday I shall run the final round of the season where either Michael Schumacher or Jaques Villeneuve will be declared champion.
Once the finale is concluded I shall open a new thread where all unsigned drivers will be available, the matter of FIA president will be dealt with there and any issues you guys want to bring up should be brought up there.
I shall leave engine upgrades in the hands of Nuppiz for the sake of impartiality.
For Nuppiz, do I need to send you just the save file?
TL/DR, This is the last warning for Benetton and Minardi to secure your current drivers, otherwise someone else can nab them.

Yeah, the save file is the only thing I need, as I can read any other stats from here.
For any engine manufacturers, I'd like to know what and how big upgrades they want. The maximums are 20BHP power increase or 10kg of weight reduction. You can also do both; in this case 1kg of weight reduction equals a 2HP power upgrade, so you could increase the power by 10HP and reduce weight by 5kg at the same time. As you may know, smaller upgrades have a higher chance of succeeding, and through Shadaza's suggestion it is also easier for engines that supply multiple teams (due to increased amount of data). Similarly, if your engine is down on power or very heavy, it is easier to increase the power or reduce weight.
Here's a short list of upgrade suggestions based on the stats Shadaza posted earlier:
Yamaha: Power
Chevrolet: Weight
Ferrari: Weight
Alfa Romeo: Power
Mercedes: Power
Nissan: Power
Al Melling: Power
Also, I'd like to take over the Honda works engines, and act as their representative. As the engine already has a fair bit of grunt, we're going to attempt to reduce it's weight. I'll run all upgrades through the calculator once I get the save game and all of the above manufacturers have confirmed their upgrades.

IBR will become Chevrolet GP, with Ralf Schumacher and Jeff Gordon as drivers. Test driver TBA.
The engine department is currently working on shedding 7kg from the engine as well.

Put almost anyone in a F1 car and they would be crap. There are a lot better choices if you want to name an IndyCar reject.

Hakkinen wins, Michael Schumacher is 1997 World Champion
It only took 18 laps for the 1997 F1 championship to be decided, Jaques Villeneuve already 10 seconds clear of Michael Schumacher recklessly dived in to traffic and that was that.
The battle for race victory was far from over, now the title was settled Ferrari were free to fight each other along with Juan Pablo Montoya and Eddie Irvine also in the mix. Despite being in the back of the lead pack, Hakkinen overtook Irvine on track and used strategy to leap ahead and take a symbolic win, the Finn laying down the gauntlet for a fresh title challenge next year.
Montoya came through to take 3rd place and the Colombian looks set to take the team leader role next year, he will need to step up the pace a little. Greg Moore overtook the Lola's and Badoer on his way to 5th, then 4th when Irvine spun rounding off an impressive year for the Canadian and securing Gauthiers spot as 3rd place in the constructors championship, leaving team Irvine in 4th. Badoer with the best engine behind him scores a grand total of 0 points.
Johnny Herbert broke away from the Nissan pack after a few choice moves and took a fine 5th place, the two points for Sauber pushed them ahead of the factory Nissan team, a fine result.
Gerhard Berger's final race brought him no luck at all as he came home in 7th place after a promising qualifying, F1 will miss the charismatic Austrian.

21 Drivers scored a point, across the championship. Damon Hill drove well but was never going to hold his title, Villeneuve-Wiliams were clearly the fastest package in flat pace but the inexperienced drivers cost the team.
Montoya took a win on his debut season and along with him: Greg Moore, Jan Magnussen, Al Unser jnr, Noberto Fontana and Alex Wurz all escaped Rejectdom.
A huge crash took out Barrichello for part way through the season, Lavaggi qualified for 3/16 races and blocked Gauthiers in all of them. Tora Takagi and Pedro Diniz were fired even before mid season. Alesi went from race winner to unemployed before being rescued by Sauber. Prost managed a fastest lap and a point, nobody knows how.

Ferrari take the title by virtue of having the better drivers if not the best car whilst Gauthier managed a real scalp by beating Benetton. Nissan took over McLaren and really did not score as many points as they would have liked, their light engine concept just lacked power. Lamborghini and IBR had a entire history worth of drama in just a single season. Winning a race, having an injury crisis, fall outs with the FIA, a brawl with Ferrari, Lamborghini withdrawing, Alesi leaving in disgust, being saved by Tristan-Yameha and finally being taken over by Chevrolet for '98!
Alfa Romeo and BMW are set to join Chevrolet as new engines for next season and there are still teams yet to confirm their engine choice.

From Lola:
We are so glad to have placed 5th in the constructors this year. We hope that similar results can continue in the future.
OK!
I will immediately start car development for the 1999 car by putting Fittipaldi, Magnussen, and Unser in a test.

Sauber's new fad,a "website" ,releases it's view on it's race drivers over the course of the season.
Johnny Herbert:Did well with the Nissan, and was able to get the most out of it. Definitely the best driver out of the three.
Mika Salo:Was fast, but often could not get that extra push to get the car into the points.Definitely had a real shot at points, but it was not to be.
Jean Alesi:One driver who could not get to grips with Nissan, but the new Alfa engines should help him a lot.
With 1997 done,Sauber will want to push on full development into it's new car.

Currently all teams, including Lola are spoken for. I am sorry, but if you remain active I will let you know if any teams become available.
As for the next round, Estoril, it is in the pipeline guys.

Nope, Shadaza runs everything from his computer so you only need to make the decisions. Though previous experience with GPM2 does help!
