Also some talk in there of a possible tie-up with USF1 that fell through. And in a different rumour, apparently because Stefan can't get hold of Bridgestones they'll be using Avon tyres instead?

Re: Villeneuve set for Stefan seat fitting
The story of Stefan just won't go away, will it? Impossible to predict how it will all pan out... But from a gloriously doomed reject perspective, it would be fun to see them get a grid slot.
Re: Villeneuve set for Stefan seat fitting
If anyone's got contact details for them, shall we see if we can get them to put an F1 Rejects sticker on their cars?

Re: Villeneuve set for Stefan seat fitting
If I ever see a Stefan car participate in an F1 weekend, even if they're horrendously of the pace, or fold after Friday practice, I will be insanely happy.* I think I might cry. Just being there will be like a victory for them, and I think it will get them lots of goodwill from not only Serbian fans, but also people like us, for whom Super Aguri was a similar story. (Super Aguri also bought a car, btw.) They have the potential to be everyone's second favourite team.
*Especially if Jacques Villeneuve is driving it, of course.

Exactly. The merchandise will ship to me, if no one else, if/when it becomes available

Lol, merchandise. Stefan GP seem to have other things on their mind than merchandise, unless you're talking about like, a t-shirt with "STEFAN GP" doodled on it with a felt-tip pen.

I got through to them at [email protected] and got my oft-posted response that I printed out and put on my wall.
Better than 'Tour in a suit case' Takagi.

Agh!
Well, at least JV's reliable. Nobody has ever questioned that about him. Also, this can't do anything but make the team look more credible to the FIA/FOTA/Bernie (yes, the Bernie). Villeneuve is a champion after all.

Publicossocrap.
"Other than the car behind and the driver who might get a bit startled with the sudden explosion in front, it really isn't a major safety issue from that point of view,"

JV looks like an absolute mess in the photo in the article. That can only be a good thing from an F1 rejects perspective.

Watka - you know, the swimming horses guy
