Re: Italian GP race review
Brilliant, thank Enoch.
I know that ROTR is your remit, and won't argue Hulkenberg didn't really deserve it... OK, that is a bit surprising, in a race where HRT arrive with Monaco-spec aero (plus plain pit-crew disorganisation) and McLaren forgets to prepare a proper blown Monza-spec wing, trusting The Boys (Lewis, actually) will compensate for that on sheer bravery.
Hulkenberg almost got the IIDOTR, and many people said they enjoyed his driving, but wouldn't vote for him because of those same antics on Webber. Martin Brundle was very vocal about Hulkenberg's moves as well, and not for the first time in the season. The Hulk is perhaps showing some excessive aggression on track, the sort of thing we're not really used to anymore (and then we complain there isn't enough aggression; I know I do). In that respect he reminds me, of all people, of Michael Schumacher - not an unlikely comparison, considering Willy Webber is behind him. There's the same ruthlessness, the feeling he will go all the way down the allowable road, and then some. Here's a guy that will originate countless discussion topics in the future.

Re: Italian GP race review
Whoa. And to think Hulk was *this* close of being the first one to get both the IIODTR and the ROTR in the same race xD
I got Pointed Opinions and I ain't afraid to use em!
F1rejects no.1Räikkönen and Vettel fan.
BTW, thats Räikkönen with two K's and two N's. Not Raikonnen (Raikkonen is fine if you have no umlauts though)

Good review as always!
you make a valid point, and made me think of Valencia when he retired from his first points position and took his anger out on a tire wall - which suggested he's clearly very highly wound during races. I wonder if anyone has anything to share from his GP2 days?

Re: Italian GP race review
Excellent review, up to your usual high standards. I can't believe how close Hulkenberg was to getting ROTR and IIDOTR simultaneously.
I like the way Snrub thinks!
