Rejects of Forza

Post by beetleman64 »

Inspired by Rejects of Gran Turismo, here's the competition for people who have Forza Motorsport (any version). It'll work in much the same way, I'll give a couple of scenarios (basically a car and a track) and you mail me your best times. I'll give each scenario an undefined amount of time (it'll revolve around the amount of interest it receives). No DLC will be used for any scenario

Please state whether your car has been upgraded or not, but please be sensible about it. If I get enough laps in upgraded cars I'll set up a separate championship.
No racing models, or cars upgraded to classes R3-X.

As there's no reliable way of verifying lap times, please be honest. The scenarios will be listed below, and new ones will be added to this post. Please say which scenario you're attempting, it'll make my life easier. A closed scenario will be marked CLOSED. Once a scenario has expired, I'll make a championship of the best lap times. Lap times posted after a scenario will not be counted. Like in qualifying, if tow people post identical lap times, whoever sets it first will be ahead.

edit: This is for production model cars only. Cars in classes R3, R2, R1 and X are not allowed.
edit: Could you actually send your times to me? I've changed the rules above to reflect this change.

1. Honda NSX (any model) around Suzuka
Inspired by Ayrton Senna working on a prototype NSX on a testing trip to Suzuka in the late 1980s

2. Ferrari F430 around Mugello
No Monza or Imola, so drive a great Italian stallion around Italy's 3rd best track

T&Cs: What I say goes, please PM me any complaints.

Martin Brundle for FIA president. We need someone with common sense up in the ivory tower of power.

I hope Jeoren Slaghekke gets into F1 just so I can say that I've talked to an F1 driver.

Before anyone points it out, I have put this in the wrong forum. I've sent a message to Kuwashima asking for it to be moved. Sorry everyone, my bad.

You didn't need to e-mail Kuwashima, you could have just asked a mod to do it. It's easier.

Don't worry, we all make mistakes - anyway, I've moved this across to the correct forum now.

First entry received and added to the list. It's a good 'un to start off with.

Just to clarify a couple of things. Please remember that this is a competition for production cars only. Cars from classes R3, R2, R1 and X are not allowed. Also, could you send your times to me directly. I know it says post them here, but I've worked out it'll be easier for me to make create the championship if I get them directly.

I don't have access to the xBox right now, so I'll redo my time for Suzuka during the weekend.

On that note I should probably set some times myself and try to get some face at the start.

Think I'll join in, too. Got an Xbox 360 a couple of months ago and Forza 3 with it.

Edit: Just sent in my time for Suzuka. Seeing as I'm far more used to GT than Forza (I've had my PS2 since December 2004, and only recently got the Xbox 360) I may be the reject of this round :D
