Toni Jefferson: A F1 06 PSP Career

Post by FMecha »

Yes, here's it. I am playing F1 06 again after upgrading it to 6.60 Pro CFW yesterday. Unfortunately, I broke my analog stick long ago so the laps will be tad slower since I am using D-pad instead. I had a previous career of a Japanese driver signing up for Midland named Mizuki Ukawa (he would be proably my first virtual driver in the F1R universe had I aware of that F1 06 save ), but I wanted a fresh start, so let I introduce the new guy: Anthony "Toni" Jefferson, an American driver who made a big jump from Champ Car to F1. :)

NOTE: Due to skill and time constraints, it is played in low difficulty and low distance settings, plus some driver aids.

In the news

February 16, 2006: Fresh from his somewhat-higher-than-average Champ Car results, American driver Anthony "Toni" Jefferson signed up as Super Aguri F1 Team's test and reserve driver today.

March 9, 2006: Midland stopped their hunt for a test driver, with lack of interest being of the role being a reason, says a spokesman for the team.

March 10, 2006: Jefferson will have a testing in Bahrain with the team, to fulfill his job as the Friday test driver.

Toni Jefferson, after the test, wrote:I set 1:47.040 as my best during the test. Not bad. They set aerodyanmics right, I can push harder.

March 12, 2006: Meanwhile, Rubens Barichello convincingly wins the Bahrain Grand Prix with Raikkonen second and Michael Schumacher third. It would be Honda's debut win and their first win since the sixties.

Toni will have a review on May 17, 2006 after another series of test. To be continued...
