He's not an F1 Reject, but he's a major interview to land!

Post by minrdi »

Hello once again F1 Rejects readers!

I've bagged another (hopefully super) F1 interview that I would love to share with you: a great chat with none other than Sir Stirling Moss, which I managed in exchange for a case of wine sent to his house!
If you'd like to read it, please click this link: http://bit.ly/1c8Nfs1

I have more great interviews on the way, including chats with Chris Amon, Philippe Alliot and Yannick Dalmas, to name but a few!

I'll give an interview in exchange for a case of Desperados beer sent to my house. ;)

I know that may not be as big of a deal as an interview with Stirling Moss.

Excellent interview. Glad to see that he has no regrets over protesting against the DQ on Hawthorn that deprived him of the title. That's true sportsmanship there. Something that is missing from a few drivers nowadays.

All through that interview I was wondering if there'd be a "difficult" question shoved in there. Such as, had he ever seen Michèle Mouton race, what would his sister have said about women in motorsport, what would his reaction be if the film of his life really was going to be made and Ian McKellen was chosen to play him in his later days... maybe such questions are best left for Louis Theroux, though. It was a cracking read anyway, make no mistake.
James Allen, on his favourite F1 engine of all time:
"...the Life W12, I can't describe the noise to you, but imagine filling your dustbin with nuts and bolts, and then throwing it down the stairs, it was something akin to that!"

The interview was actually conducted some months prior to his more recent rounds of rather sexist and homophobic comments, so unfortunately I missed that boat. I had sat on this interview for a while due to my own workload, which did give the impression of a 'softer' interview to what I usually deliver.

Appreciate the positive response from everyone as always :)
