Well, I didn't expect this. Who will they sign? Will they pull out of sportscars? I haven't seen anything about the latter point, it'd be crossing the fine line between bravery and stupidity to attempt both.
Very interesting, could indicate a return to a manufacturer dominated grid and the financial security that that brings, could be good news for those of us worried about the future!
If we're going to have to lose the team that was originally Manor Grand Prix, then there's only one man with the required amount of Yorkshire grit and Audi experience for the job.
Ey oop and ecky thump t' John Bintcliffe, someone who was definitely not out on Ilkley Moor bah't 'at because he knew he'd catch tha's death o' cold and miss the next race. At Croft. And we can't be having that.
James Allen, on his favourite F1 engine of all time: "...the Life W12, I can't describe the noise to you, but imagine filling your dustbin with nuts and bolts, and then throwing it down the stairs, it was something akin to that!"
In all probability we will see Di Grassi in there somewhere as he has recent F1 knowledge (as does Lotterer) but I demand to see Kristiensen in an Audi F1 Car
Nothing like that. Audi will place in one car Kristensen, Pirro and Biela doing stints and then Andre Lotterer in the other car. They will still finish one-two most races mind you.

Obviously, the news takes longer to get to America than to Australia. Or else Autosport's article is blocked in the land of free speech!
Hoping they brand the chassis as a Skoda and the engine as either a Lambo or a Bugatti. A Skoda-Lambo sounds epic, doesn't it?

Audi have (allegedly, not on Autosport as of writing) signed Stefano Domenicali in a role that has absolutely nothing to do with motorsport. You know what that really means...
Another former Audi factory driver with F1 experience is Philippe Adams! He just recently became debt-free, and stated 'if i could do it all over, i would do everything the same way i did', so is here his chance do live by his words?
Censoring posts now? Man this place has really fallen.......

I'd imagine Rubens Barrichello is already blazing a trail up the autobahn to Ingolstadt, complete with 100% more reasons why he's the best driver in the paddock and a character witness signed by Rubens B., R. Barrichello and Eddie Jordan. Cos Eddie once had a team, don't ya know don't ya know.

Wouldn't it be nice, though? The old veteran finally getting his well-deserved title as a new manufacturer upsets the leaders?

A chance to prove he's not number 2 for a reason, exactly what Barrichello needs. Although, he'll still retire from the Brazilian Grand Prix whilst half a lap out in front...
All right I have to admit, that one made me smile.

Yes... I can already imagine it. Good sport Rubens Barrichello making way right on the final corner so that whoever is driving that other Audi (possibly Andre Lotterer) can clinch the drivers title while at the same time being pivotal in winning 'his' 7th manufacturers title. A record certainly and a way to finally get his well-deserved title (honorary, of course) of best team-mate ever.

No it isn't, stop being a muppet. Domenicalli, along with Lotterer, will rule F1 for the next decade.

they should enter as Seat... not Audi.... just for the headline "Driver X gets the second Seat seat" (not for the reason that I drive a Seat Leon 1.2 TSi)
