Favourite Reject Livery?

Despite some teams failing on the actual racing side of building a car you did get teams who did put some effort into the cars livery. So I would like to know your favourite reject livery.

One of my favourites has to be the Tyrrell 026 - 1998 livery

The Lotus 109 livery from 1994 was pretty to look at in my eyes.

Andrea Moda

Every AGS from 1988 onward, but if I had to pick it would be the JH25

Coloni-Subaru

Forti FG01

Also, a shout-out to the previously mentioned HRT F112.

Perhaps a controversial choice, but I really liked the neon greenish-yellow and blue livery Minardi ran in 2000;

Not too many agree with this, apparently (according to my early experience on this forum), but I do like this (primarily because I was given a promotional poster of this from a garage in 1994, sadly not kept).

And now for an original suggestion, the Minardi that Anthony Davidson drove, BUT only from this angle:

The engine cover looked a bit cluttered to me (ironic, considering I like the Lotus above!), but I love the nosecone design, and the sidepod is OK.

The unraced DAMS GD01 has quite the snazzy livery

You could probably call this a reject of the rejects.

Not a fan of that Minardi livery, but yes, 2000 was a superb year for livery variation.

I like all Minardi liveries, the 1998-1999 cars look cool. The blue and silver (grey?) merged looks fine.

Also, in my opinion the Arrows A20 (1999) car looks good. A mainly plain black with orange Repsol branding. On sidepods, 'sponsor' changes, like Baan, some odd lettering, T-Minus etc. Orange and black works well together, and looks brilliant on TV.

Most of my favourites have already been mentioned but the Forti FG02(03?) from San Marino 1996 onwards was a nice, bright yellow.

This seasons Caterham was a looked too, from any view other than the front obviously...

I hesitate to call this car/team a reject, as it nearly won a race and was driven by the reigning world champion, but since Arrows have already been mentioned in this thread I'll pop it in.
It's right up there with my favourite liveries of all time.

I really liked the pre-season 2007 livery of Spyker.
On the press photos it looked brilliant, unfortunately the paint became more like salmon-pink in real life! :lol:

All thes cars are beauties, but 1989 was elegant just because had the highest number of cars and teams ever in F1, anyway, 2014 was the Life W12 of F1 seasons

Maybe AdrianBelmonte_ means it livery-wise? 2014 was not the greatest year for formula 1 liveries, apart from the Martini Williams in my opinion.

When I originally mentioned a "more elegant age" I did indeed mean liveries and car design. Anyone who tries to tell me that the horrific vomit piles that modern F1 cars currently are with their dong noses, insane angles and horrible colourschemes hold a candle to the cars of 89 is wasting their time. There's no comparison at all.

Well, in that context, that is true. The Williams was beautiful, and I liked the Marussia too, but all the others were forgettable. Not ugly, just forgettable. Which is worse from a marketing perspective. Damon Hill's 1992 Brabham was ugly with its pink and blue livery, but I can remember it!

2002 was also bad, but depite the championship being dominated by one team (well, one man), it's slightly better than 2014, why? easy, in 2002 everybody was pushing like a hell, in 2014 everybody was saving like a hell

Only if you think that F1 has to have the drivers always be on the limit. This was not always the case - it was only during the refuelling era that you had to push constantly. And the racing suffered horribly for it - anyone remember the Trulli train?

Sure, you had some really amazing laps and stints, but I'll take the end to the 2014 Hungarian GP any day of the week.

Prost blue is the best colour for a racing car. (Now someone will correct me that some non-championship entrant in 1960 used the same colour first, but still, it's the best....)

The Prost blue seems a bit darker than the Ligier and some NC guy blue. Could just be the lighting, I don't know. I don't think we'll ever find out what specific recipe of paint they all used.
