For the serious nomination, I'll go with Jenson Button. When you consider his experience and career, he was the most disappointing.

The Olympics were supposed to be a celebration, a sign of friendship between all nations. Instead, it has almost always been a political competition. And if you have politics in the Olympics, you can expect to have them in all sports.

While there are many possible candidates, I'll stick with Force India on this one. From a 7th and 8th last weekend to a double DNF due to technical reasons, plus not giving Di Resta a chance to set a time.

Honorable mention for Räikkönen for the clean win.

Pastor Maldonado for letting el Comandante Chávez down. And if he doesn't get any better I can see the PDVSA money running away.

Disonorable mentions for the lack of pace of Mclaren, Williams and Caterham, though these look more like candidates for reject of the year unless something happens.
