Did you know that on the second lap of the 1983 South Africa GP, Cheever got along side of Laffite on the main straight and under breaking for Crowthorne Corner Cheever moved over and edged Laffite off the track, into a spin and retirement...... Andrea de Cesaris gets the 2nd Sauber seat. Then in his 200th race start at Canada, by bizarre circumstances, heavy attrition, and in the rain, he wins the race. Just as Murray Walker says "Unless I am very much mistaken, Andrea wins a GP and doesn't wreck his car....." only then Andrea do...

I have a 1983 Danny Sullivan Tyrrell diecast. That counts, correct? Would the follow diecast count since the driver/car combination scored 2 points or less for the given year or event? Fabi Benetton B186 - 1986 (only scored 2 points all season) Wurz Benetton Playlife - 2000 (only scored 2 points all...

I have seen a couple of sources that someone may be producing a 1/43rd scale diecast of Otto Stuppacher Tyrrell from 1976. Surely that will be one of THE F1 Reject diecast to have if it does indeed get produced.

I hinted at this in the Christmas gift wish list, but I'm curious no one else has mentioned it. Doesn't Rubens need to feel "loved" by his team to do well and perform well? Or was it after being 2nd banana at Ferrari for so long that affected him? In Frank Williams and Patrick Head, you ha...

Jacquest V at the 2010 Winter Olympics
I know most people here don't hold Jacques Villeneuve in high regard after his 1997 title year, but he was just one of 8 Canadians to carry in the Official Olympic Flag at the 2010 Winter Olympics opening ceremonies.

Yes, the correct answer to why Andrea had car #8 in 1981 was because "it was the same number up-side down......" Not sure where I read it, but I do remember seeing that in print at that time. Admittedly, I had the honor of being in the grandstand at F1 Austria 1985 GP when he went off duri...
