Yes I did and he will also drive at Surfers. But I planned to field three drivers. Put him with #66

JLD Motorsport has earlier today announced their drivers for the 2015 F3RWRS season. The team had a dismal season in 2014 with Antonio Renya-Sanchez, Joao Cavalcanti and Renaldo Jimanez all not delivering to the lofty exceptions team owner Pierre Louis Depault had for the team in the first year in the F3RWRS. Unsurprisingly, their lead driver will be 18 year old Joel Melrose, younger brother of 4 time Formula One World Champion Daniel, who has come under much criticism for his performances in 2014 but is ready to prove the doubters wrong. Their second driver was the surprise signing of 26 year old Finnish driver Nick Nurmester after discussions between him, Depault and MRT owner/JLD engine supplier Daniel Melrose. "Nurmester is probably one of the biggest young stars in Touring Cars right now and we are looking forward to working with him in the future." said Melrose. "Over the years, I've brought several young drivers into the F1RWRS and associated categories including Jeroen Krautmeir, Phillippe Nicolas and now Mitchell Macklin with the Simpson Motorsport outfit and, admittingly, JLD's drivers for this year look more promising than this year's lot. Nonetheless, we wish our outgoing drivers the best of luck in their future endevours."

Torbani bounced back to be fastest here, but that just means he starts 25th for the race. Of the one-off cars, both Foxdales got through, as did Claude Speed in his Phoenix. Kevin Bainomugisha very nearly made it, but not quite, just 3 hundredths off.

He has also shown this season he has very good race pace, and therefore we are looking to finish on the podium at least tomorrow. Alessandro was having some set-up issues unfortunately, and this has greatly hindered his qualifying performance today.
We also express our sympathies to Dofasco, having to pack up before the race has even begun. We loaned Carsten Jancker to them to give them a hand, and considering he was by far their quickest driver this weekend, it was a beneficial arrangement for both parties. However, unfortunately, it seems the Dofasco car just isn't fast enough to make the grid no matter who is driving.

As a racing tradition in Italy as part of the Fiat group of companies, we would like to request that due to the downscaling of all F3RWRS teams to two cars next season, you retain car numbers 29 and 30. We would like to put this request past you before seeking these changes with the RWRS Commission. Car numbers 27 and 28 are etched in the memory of all racing fans in Italy, and we wish to continue this tradition with our team next season.

RWRS Report wrote:Alitalia confirms F3RWRS drivers & team rebranding
Following the final race of the 2014 F3RWRS season, Scuderia Alitalia unveiled their plans for the new season ahead in 2015. With teams restricted to two drivers next year, Alitalia would be forced to cut back by at least one driver, but instead have decided to drop two.
Gianluigi Pazzini and Enrico Molinaro have both been dropped in favour of Lorenzo Crescenzi, a driver who had mixed fortues at Christopherson Racing in a part-time debut season. Like Pazzini, Crescenzi's best result this year was a second place, and he will have all of next year to try and go one better.
Despite both Pazzini and Molinaro being dropped, it seems they are destined for bigger things. Molinaro already has a deal in place for the F2RWRS Indy 100 with Hydook Racing, with the Croatian team evaluating the young Italian for their second seat next season. Pazzini on the other hand looks set for an internal promotion - the second seat at Scuderia Alitalia is yet to be filled for next season & it seems unlikely that the team's highest scoring driver this year would be dropped entirely.
More changes were present from a team perspective. Scuderia Alitalia will finally be rolling out the Parma Corse junior team brand in full for 2015, and will be running cars visually similar to the #98 machine used by Enrico Molinaro this year. However, there will be no change aside from the name as the colour, being run out of the same Parma HQ as the rest of Scuderia Alitalia's racing operations.
However, the #27 and #28 shown on the Team Presentation is only speculative, with the F1RWRS Commission yet to issue numbers to the teams. Unlike F1RWRS and F2RWRS where numbers are assigned to teams, F3RWRS uses the MotoGP system of pick and choose. With ZombieKart's Humbert Moyenmoutier using #28 this season, it remains to be seen if Parma Corse will be allowed to use this historic pair of numbers.

Kay Lon wrote:This championship is an enormous success for everyone involved: of course for Tomo herself who proved that there are great things in store for her; for Prospec who deserves success after having a rough patch in the F1RWRS and also for me, I know that Tomo is great and I told you so! This win has significant consequences - it's the first time a woman legitimately won a title in a major racing series, that'll help undoubtably in getting rid of stereotypes about women drivers. I also feel the need to praise all the other drivers in the Top 5, everyone fought beyond brilliantly. Terry Hawkin, Carter Simpson, Dorien Lamb-something and of course Joel Melrose - good job, guys. Now it's time to celebrate this one!
Renaldo Jimenez wrote:I hope now that JLD have sacked me I don't have to do racing anymore...
Terry Hawkin wrote:What a win! Really delighted with the result today, it's a massive, massive win for the team after a bit of a poor weekend in China. For me, to win the Surfers SuperPrix, which is such classic race, at a superb venue, and the history it has, is amazing. I can't thank Sammy Jones enough for the faith that he's shown in me, it's been a superb year for me with success both in this series and my podiums in the F2RWRS as well. Missing out on the title by two points is really gutting, but there's no point getting hung up on it. I've proven my potential, and that's all I wanted to do. I can't wait now to go to the FedEx 100 and try and get a good result there, before moving up to the F2RWRS for a full time drive in 2015 with Castrol Jones Racing.
Sammy Jones wrote:What a superb result for Terry today, he's really come of age this year, despite being so young. The lad's only recently turned 16, yet the maturity he shows is just unbelievable. I can't wait to get him in our F2RWRS car next year and see what he can do in a full season over there. He's proven in the F3RWRS that he's a class act, despite missing the British round, and being punted out of the second race in China, he' still finished second in the championship and only two points off the title. I don't know whether we'll ever have a driver like him in the team again. Speaking of which, our plans for 2015 are looking excellent. Josh Carlisle will take the seat vacated by Hawkin, and we'd like to be the first to offer Eric Swerts the opportunity to remain in the series for a proper crack at the title in 2015. Eric's had a tough break over the year and the luck hasn't really gone his way very much, but I think another chance is the least he deserves, and I and the rest of the team would be more than happy to work with the kid again for another season.
Josh Carlisle wrote:It was a pretty good race for me, 11th overall perhaps isn't much to write home about, but I think given the car at my disposal, and considering my relative inexperience in the series and being a complete newcomer to the track itself, I think I've done a pretty decent job. My time at Falik Arrows Juniors has been a very rewarding one, and I'd like to thank the whole team for their welcoming nature and friendly attitude which has really allowed me to settle in comfortably. Now though I'm looking forward to driving for a full year at Jones Racing in 2015!

Of course, Dorien Lamberigts will drive the first car, and will try to do a bid at the championship.
Octan is also looking for a decent team to place Kevin Bainomugisha if only 2 cars are allowed.

After the dismal result suffered by the team, including the triple-DNQ at SuperPrix, Kazuhiko Takagi has annouced today that he has took over the ailing F3RWRS Team Asia.
"The current [Team Asia's] management is so bad so that the team is hopeless. From beginning, I have seen signs of defects in the team", said Takagi to Some Publication. With that, the team will be called Takagi Racing Enterprises for 2015 F3RWRS, after the racing team that Takagi also run.
TRE said that they will keep the Suzuki chassis that Team Asia uses, rebadged as TRE-F315 matched with Mugen-Honda engines. TRE has since annnounced that Tetsuya Takagi, Kazuhiko's younger brother that recently failed to qualify at SuperPrix, will drive for this team, with Team Asia's only point-scorer Hendra Naufal also driving. The team will also kept Team Asia's numbers, 9 and 10.
