Not bad, Senna's just plugging away, nabbing points.

We'd like to retain all 3 of our drivers for 1991, and we'll test at Mondello- Senna working on sequential gearbox and Nanninni and Schumacher on floor

Will there be a specific order in which team owners can try to sign drivers? If so, I assume as Jordan will be a new team, that me and whoever takes Modena will be last.

And to Ron Dennis and Ken Tyrrell, if you continue to try and sign Senna, Flavio will set several burly Sicillian hitmen on you and your familys. Capiché?

VOTING:
I have 2 very important questinons on my table!
Every team will have to vote! If a team owner don't vote he will get a reprimant! 2 reprimants and the team owner will be out!

Question 1
Reliability System
I have worked out a complete new reliability system! It will hopefully more realistic. Teams will be able to test the reliability of the cars in order to make it better!

When should i implement it?
A: start of 1991
B: after the 8th race 1990

Question 2
Driver signing

When should w start the process for 1991?
A: start of 1991
B: after the 8th race of 1990
C: after the 12th race of 1990

Please vote until 2nd of September!

FullMetalJack wrote:Will there be a specific order in which team owners can try to sign drivers? If so, I assume as Jordan will be a new team, that me and whoever takes Modena will be last.

No there will be no specific order! Jordan will most likely also be able to sign drivers after round 12!

Question 1: Lotus will vote for A.

Question 2: We will vote for option C.

I dont think we should be too concerned about 91 when we're still halfway through 1990.

Hello everyone,

I have read all the posts and it is a fantastic season so far, with lots of winners and surprises.
Jean Alesi, my favorite driver, is in the title hunt in its first full season, fantastic !

New rejects teams like Modena will be available for 1991 ?

Oil company sponsors had often relationships with some engine manufacturers, like Elf had with Renault.

Please read this post carefully!

Now i will present you the sponsoring system!
It is very easy!

There are sponsors from 3 diferent main categories(A,B,C) where A and B each have sub categories(A1,A2,B1,B2). So the categories are(A1,A2,B1,B2,C)
Every team can have a maximum of 3 sponsors! There is a limit of categorie A sponsors which mean that every team can only have 1 categorie A sponsor!
So the posibilities are:
ABB, ABC, ACC, BBB, BBC, BCC, CCC for 3 sponsors
AB, AC. BB, BC, CC for 2 sponsors
A, B, C for 1 sponsor

There will be also a chance of sponsor drop out during the season(after the 8th race) if you don't match the requirements each sponsor categorie has!
So if a sponsor say you have to be top 4 than you have to be on the 4th place in the constructorc championship after the 8th race! If you don't make it the sponsor will drop out and take half the money he gave to you with him! So if a sponsor gave you 15m$ and he drop out 7,5m$ will be deducted from your budget!

Here is the sponsor list:
A1(20m$)(Top 4)
Marlboro
Canon
Camel
A2(15m$)(Top 8)
Gitanes (French Team)
7 Up
Braun
Leyton House
Footwork
B1(5m$)(5 points)
Marlboro
Fondmetal
Honda (Honda Engine)
Renault (Renault Engine)
Ford (Ford Engine)
Fiat (Ferrari Engine)
Autopolis
Quantas
USF&G
B2(4m$)(4points)
Tic Tac
Fujifilm
Toshiba
Tag-Heuer
Barclay
Gilette
Sanyo
Denim Aftershave
Yellow Hat
C(2m$)
Shell
Blaupunkt
BP
Goodyear
Pirelli
Agip
Elf
Pioneer
Mobil 1
Epson
Lease Plan
Lucchini
Tamiya
Tommy Hilfiger
Autobacs
Bosch
Brooksfield
Bull
Calbee
CAPA
Castrol
Central Park
Courtaulds
Diavia
Essilor

Feel free to discuss the system! I'm open for changes!

So we kust choose 3 sponsers for our team one from each category?

Do the ones with engine manufacturers mean they will only sponser those with that engine or if you get that sponser you get those engines next year?

How is it decided who gets sponsers would it be better to choose a couple from each categorie to have a better chance of gaining a sponser

The system should be put in action for next season. Doing it right now will only made things a mess

If it's applied right now, Dallara will go with Lucchini and Agip.

Sponsoring isn't open right now!!!!!!!!!

Sponsoring will open AFTER the 1990 season!

With regards to the engine manufacturer: You can only have them if you have this engines!
All sponsors will be decided with an RNG! But as i sayed: it opens up AFTER the 1990 season!

Yes, I want to sign up with them, it will be a great challenge to try to score 1 point, if we can prequalify :)

Hmmm, I'd imagine ABB would be the most logical choice for Benetton, as a secure top 4 team, to go for?

Larrousse could aim for B2, but if I aim for a C, and then somehow I can score 5 points or so, that's going to look silly. Meh, it's just a concept anyway, plus there's still plenty of races left, so we will see.

Rule Changes for 1991

1991 Teams will earn theyr money from sponsorship!
Teams will have to invest money(up to 10m$) for a new chassis which will be used in 1992! They also can use theyr old chassis(will be a bit worse)!
New point system(same as used from 1991-2003)
New car number system(same as the 1995 one)
Traction control will be legal!

PS: Midseaon holiday will be over tomorow! I will do the testing maybe today and the next race tomorow!
