Will Buxton talked to Carlos Ghosn (Renault CEO) on the grid today - IIRC, he said that Renault would still run their team for at least next year, and were in the longer term trying to sell engines to as many teams as possible. Don't know how that affects the whole Lotus/Lotus/Lotus thing...

I'd say it was a racing accident - but if you want to appropriate blame, I believe Mutoh's spotter desrves a bit more of that then Sato's. That restart was a complete disaster all around. If I had to apportion blame, I'd give most of it to de Silvestro (in the orange car, to the right of them both)...

Piquet ends up 6th... it seemed, towards the end, like he simply didn't have the power to run with the leaders without lots of help. Meanwhile his teammate Timothy Peters wins after moving Todd Bodine out of the way on the back straight of the last lap...

Piquet is really doing quite well-up to 2nd more than once, although I don't think he's led. He needs a good result, too-Red Horse Racing is a good team, but if you can't attract a sponsor, they're not interested.

Err... just so you are aware, IMAX and 3D are not the same thing, at all. And considering that there has already been an NASCAR IMAX film, I don't see why they couldn't do the same for F1. Of course, first they have to get HD cameras before they can even think about IMAX cameras...

Eventually, after the engine freeze is listed, Mercedes will put out an unreliable engine... at some point he'll have an air intake failure (i.e. overheating ;)) and exhaust failure.
